Ignoring, for the moment, your loose open from EP.. why aren't you cbetting one of the best boards your hand will get?

Damn it... I have no idea... you are right.

I guess I was trying to trap for cheap...

thanks for the input.

Trapping oop with middle pair and a flush draw??

As played your hand looks like QQ or JJ that was scared of the flop then bets for some value on the river. If your opponent is observant enough to spot this then this raise could be a bluff... Villains shove reps a full house imo, some times worse flushes as well. Villians line is pretty weird though only 99 make sense to have a fh (assuming AA,KK 3 bet pre & not many 5's in villains range).

Ok let me try.

1. Dont raise K8 suited from UTG.

For the most part you dont have to worry about raising with anything but good hands to beat NL 4. If you wanna put in a raise from UTG that is not a premium hand, do it with Axs. Sc. Hc. or something like that. But really you do not have to do it at all, and its proberly spew doing it at Nl4.

2. Cbet the flop. You have midlle pair, and And nut flush draw.

3. Call his river shove. There are only a few hand that beats us, and the way the hand played out its very unlikely he has a FH, or quads here.

The only hand that would make sense for him to play this line, and then shove is 99. but there are so many hands that he can try to bluff with here, or he can have a lower flush himself.
