Question about longterm profit and bankroll management! Question about longterm profit and bankroll management!

I have been testing out online poker cash games for the first time. With the advice of people in this forum I decided on starting at .10/.25 6-max with $1000 bankroll.

After 9743 hands I am up 12.4 bb/100, and my bankroll is at $1,374. I had it up to over $1500, ran bad last 1k hands.

I am wondering if this is a good trend? bad? Am I doing better or worse than others on this forum? I feel I have made too many mistakes, costly ones that have turned break even sessions into losing ones or decent sessions from being monsters. Just wondering where I stand amongst others who study their play at microstakes.

Thank you

small sample size

there is a separate stats thread for this kind of quick check-up fyi. 12.4bb/1000 is a very good winrate but over < 10k hands may not be sustainable.

if you winning thats a good start. 12bb/100 is that big blinds not big bets is deffo sustainable but your sample size isnt anywhere near big enough to see if your that big of a winner

Thank you for the input, personally I thought I could maintain 20bb/100 but that may have been far fetched. I play 2 tables for 1.5/2 hours at a time. I try to play 5 days a week. It has taken me a month to play this many hands, and it usually takes me 15-20 minutes to pick the tables I'm going to sit at. Whats a good sample size? 30k? The goal is $2000.

Thanks again!

Long term is more like 100k + hands than 10k. But this is a very good start, just try to make good decisions and work on your game a little away from the table too.
