- Preflop I think we can call, however, bb will squeeze in this formation a decent amount, and [potentially] going 3 ways is not something I want to do. Is calling more standard here or 4b is fine to apply leverage and try to capitalize?
- Flop c-bet for protection/value from AK/AQ maybe the 3 remaining KQs
- The turn brings a bdfd, I unblock both draws now, is turn a mandatory bet? or checking back and trying to realize is fine?
- I have not studied 4b pots, so not sure what's best on the river.

Please comment on the turn and river.

The theory says it's better to have a K or an A in your hand when you 4-bet bluff, to block villain's continuing range. Plus your hand is good enough to call here, especially with the third player in. You don't mind the pot being multiway as long as you are able to get away from one pair hands post flop.

Also at the micro-stakes (at least in my experience) people are not 3-betting as wide as theory recommends, so 4-bet bluffing becomes less necessary/ good. But ok, this 4-bet isn't terrible as long as you do it once in awhile, and not every time you have a suited broadway combo.

I like your play on the rest of the hand. On the flop check or bet small are both ok. Once your flop bet gets called just check the hand down and see a showdown.

I would mostly just call preflop but don't hate the 4bet, against a button open and SB call the BB can be squeezing very wide

Check back the river, you're not going to get 99 or Ace-high to call often enough to make up for the times you lose, and you definitely don't want to face a CR

Thanks for the replies!

I can get behind not needing to 4b at micros and play this hand IP being 170bb eff. I also agree thath having an Ace or King blocker is better. to 4b pre I just thought in this scenario BB can be wider than usual since bu opened and sb flatted. There is a bunch of dead money in the pot and if called, we get to play in position with incentive.

ap, river goes check check and our hand is good.

IMO unnecesary 4bet pre unleess a great read of the villian if he's squeezing too often

Xback OTR

Well played potsflop.
