Baluga only applied in single raised pots iirc

This is correct. In a single raised pot you are not nearly as committed on the turn because the pot is smaller. Here it would be very tough to lay down since we already have well over half our stack in the middle and we are getting better than 4 to 1 odds to make the call.

I havent read the actual thread that the theory came from Ive only read the pokerbank summary:

    http://www.thepokerbank.com/strategy/theorems/baluga/

“You should strongly re-evaluate the strength of one-pair hands in the face of a raise on the turn.”

Thought it applies here as we know nothing about villain.

You can go ahead and fold this readless at 2NL IMO, since play tends to be straight forward. The average regfish turn raise is usually better than one pair. You might occasionally see an overpair played like this so you should probably call with AA but here the only thing you're happy to see is JJ so not enough combos.

If I were villain would play hand exact same way. Classic misdirect bet or check/raise on brick turn.
