Villian is 21/18/5.8
I make my standard raise. Flop is sick & when he 3bet shoves alarm bells should have went off and auto muck should have come into play. Looking back on the hand there is no way I'm ahead or will be ahead by the river. This was towards the end of my session so was a little tired. But that's no excuse for donating money

Yeah, you def have to let it go when he 3bets you. At best you're going to be flipping against his range here. Also, don't post results.

you shouldnt post results sucks that he had the nuts but i probably woulda stacked here you have blockers against the nut straight which makes it less likely he flopped it
by the way he played it i would expect this to be some kinda combo pair+ draw maybe like J10 or a FD so i woulda probably called

Yeah I put the results into poker stove and i'm crushed against most of his range here. It should have been an easy fold.

If you raise his donk-bet for value then you aren't folding to a shove. Don't turn your QQ into a bluff and raise/fold the flop, I'd rather flat-call than do that. Getting it in on this flop is fine pretty standard flip, our equity is actually much better than if we had KK+ because we have blockers+gutter

Did you read his post? Pokerstove said it was an easy call.

No matter what you do, donīt raise/fold these kind of flops for value. Itīs lighting money on fire. If you are not prepared to call a shove, donīt raise the flop. Decide before you raise, not after he shoves.

when you're led into in these spots i think its often better to smooth call and see his action on the turn. he'll slowdown with his Tx type hands, and almost always if he fires again you're going to be a in a tough spot. you've got an overpair with a gutshot, i think calling in position and exercising a little caution and controlling the pot is definitely a good idea here

I wouldn't smooth call. Villian's range is so wide betting that u need to raise for value, you want to charge the A and K flush & straight draws more money, and even if your up against two pair or set, you still have outs you can catch.
