Villain was 30/10 over 11 hands. He had limp/called once (with a 50bb stack), which was against me and is worth noting. Almost exactly the same situation as this one I make it 5x KhKd from the blinds and he flats. Flop comes 7d 6d 4d. I bet 2/3 pot and he jams. I call and he shows Jh8d... and gets there on the river by hitting the straight. Now I'm not sure if this was playing on my mind here in terms of revenge OR I was thinking 'if he can get it in for 50bb with an 8 high flush draw and gutshot I'm sure he can raise here and stack off far wider than QQ on this board'.

So... what do you do versus his flop raise? I don't like flatting as a lot of difficult cards on the turn, plus he 'could' continue to bluff if that's indeed what he is doing.

I would bet more otf. I would fold flop because our equity vs his range probably isn't good and he has position. Not opposed to calling and getting in on a good turn. 3-betting flop is atrocious though.

I tend to think that fish calm down once they double their stack when it's close or over 100bbs.
