Villain 26/13/2. He views me as crazy. I just checkraised and then fired 2 more barrels with a gutshot and he called me down about 20ish hands ago with an overpair that he played pretty passively. Since he seemed passive, I planned on just checkcalling the turn, but I definitely considered betting since he views me as nuts, but still there aren't that many hands, maybe pocket pairs, that I really get value from. River is a clear value bet, but then he shoves pretty quickly. He reps nothing, but I doubt he's bluffing me either. 317 to me. Call or fold?

Doesn't make that much sense, he's going to check behind alot and when he bets he has a better hand and isn't going to fold.

I would only be worried about AJ. It doesnt seem likely that he has a set with just calling the flop bet and checking the turn. However, the river shove is scary and i can see why you would puke. Given the action i would probably call.

99 would make sense preflop but its a pretty thin call on the flop, and you would probably get raised by JJ pre. sick hand imo

More on the flop, fire again on the turn. I assume u went for a c/r, but I don't like that too much cuz whenever u get called ur drawing to a flush.

River looks like a fold but I hate myself afterwards if I actually do it.

You basically have a bluffcatcher. Even if this guy was bluffing he needs to have 56 or lower spades for it to make any sense. Since your read was that he was passive and you were aggressive, his shove makes me believe that he was hoping you'd bet again. I don't think this is necessarily Ts8s (of course that is in his range though), but slowplayed sets/AJ make up alot of it.

I mean you say he seems passive and he's probably pretty bad due to stats. Added to the fact he shoved and his range is far too weighted towards slow played stuff sets and AJ and 99 or T8s then bluffs to make a call +ev imo.
