I was pretty aggressive before this hand, it's probably my 3 or 4 squeeze on last 2 orbits. Villain is 38-19 and -8ptbb according to PTR. Folds to 3-bet from co-button 46%. It's a shallow stack table btw, sooo

No-Limit Hold'em, $4.00 BB (6 handed) -

MP ($184)
Hero (BB) ($249.60)
UTG ($160)
SB ($171)
Button ($689.95)
CO ($86.40)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q, A
3 folds, Button bets $12, SB calls $10, Hero raises $48, Button calls $40, 1 fold

Flop: ($116) 9, 3, 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $220, Hero ?

I decide to c\r flop since his range pretty wide and this board doesn't help both us alot, so he could try to pickup board. also we have some equity against pairs. But then I saw such overbet I was a bit lost.

As played just fold.

Better play is to just cbet the flop. Were you planning on check/shoving the flop? These stacks sizes are too awkward to really try and get too fancy.

hard to know vs a random fish with that information, but cant be too bad to ship or fold

54-:
If I bet-call I will exclude all his bluffs that doesn't hit the board at all, rather than C\Shove I could induce action from them and he will hard to fold them after that. This board is totally blank for all of us but is it wrong to include some bluffs to his range that he will bet and couldn't fold after: broadway, At, AJ etc. Also against fish we could have FE in spots which normally we couldn't. I realise that it's good for us to just take a pot with cbet, but after that we should call vs a bit harder range than if we c\shove imo

Yeah i really don't get why anyone would advocate check/raising here. I would personally not check/raise anything in this spot.
