    1. In position yeah, sure. You can put a lot of pressure to his wide weak range.
    2. Absolutely well played. I mean you also should have KT/KJ and some Kxs in your checking back range along with 97s,87s. And some of his turn bluffs was turned into a made hand otr.

OTF: I would consider cbetting this flop, you have a lot of good turn cards if you're behind (backdoors and J/9s) + the jack is a good blocker and you should have more kings than him in your range.

OTT: I think it's raise or fold, leaning more towards folding. or be prepared to call the river if you have a read on him and think he is overbluffing in these spots.

If putting pressure on him is the goal, flat PF and make him play his wide range OOP.

Why would we 3bet light vs this guy? Just call and let him make mistakes post

I think whilst we can tell from his VPIP/PFR 38/26 over 47 hands he probably is opening wider than the typical player we really can't get anything out of his F3B, FCB stats which is simply way too small of a small size.

Not an expert in bluff 3 betting by any stretch but perhaps you should be using Axss hands instead to 3b bluff?

I think whether or not you should 3b depends on how good you are postflop and whether you can hand read well, pick off bluffs and make the occasional hero call postflop. If you have a definite skill edge postflop then go for it but if not just widen your 3b range linearly and play postflop IP with a stronger range than Villain.

I requested those stats because that might be a reason to 3bet him light (he folds too much to 3b or cbets). Since we dont get anything like that from the stats my thoughts are as in the last post.

You should be more inclined to call rather than raise if you think you have a "definite skill edge postflop" as you say.

One reason for 3-betting this combo is because you're flatting more of the hands that you'd usually raise.

The reason for 3-betting this guy in general is because he's either forced to fold too much or defend a lot of a weak range. Although on 47 hands I'd be more looking towards any showdowns I've seen him have, as occasionally I have these stats early on and showdowns can let you know if he's playing total trash or not more accurately than his stats sometimes.

What hands are we flatting here that we would normally raise?

Hands like QJs/JTs that I'd 3-bet quite a lot of the time.

    1. To isolate him

    2. Gain some fold equity preflop

    3. Take the initiative

    4. Not to get squeezed

But in this spot we up against a villain who seems to be over loose so we can 3-bet looser aswell.
