These mid pocket pairs give me a lot of trouble. What line do you normally take in these situations? do you pop preflop or evaluate after the flop especially if you are out of position?

New to the table. No reads on villains. seems to be a very loose table with a lot of limp calling raises with junk hands.

I really hate to fold here and i really hate to get it in here and calling wouldnt make much sense. whats the best line?

The button especially will play to float you here all day so leading out here with 4 players to go through is maybe asking for a call- I prefer check raising the flop- UTG isn't likely to c-bet with a missed hand with so many players to act- it is a 5 way pot

By checking, a LP player may try and take a shot with ATC's- check raising would be my preffered play here to take it down on the flop...obviously if we get called there or raised, then be done with it.

Leading out here with so many players is going to get a call and when you check the turn, his bet could mean anything is very marginal, so I check raise flop to avoid that spot.

Seems likely that the villian made two pair or even a straight on that flop and is trying to get value out of you. As played, fold the turn, but I like Ksight's bet/fold on the turn better than checking. He could have an eight that he'll call you down with or a straight draw.

Flop and PF look good to me.
