its a pointless discussion, positive is good, and just constantly work on your game and improve

winrate is just what you did in the past

These type discussions are pretty usesless, and here's why. Why do you play poker? Do you have aspirations of turning pro? How is your living lifestyle? Can you replenish your bankroll very easily?

Short Answer WR > 0 is good, WR < 0 needs improvement.

Long answer - What are you looking for in poker. Just to play and have fun? Support a family? Get out of debt?

Here's an example. A "recreational player" fills a couple of empty nights during the week with a few hundred hands, and then puts in a couple thousand on saturday evening. This type player will be quite content playing at 25NL for a while, and would love to make 2ptBB/100.
Now this "recreational player" is a little more serious. He plays every evening after work 6-8 tables, and on the weekends cranks out 10-15K hands a day. He wants to aggressively move up, so he studies and posts and thinks about the game. He;s definitely looking to make 6-8 ptBB/100 at least so he can look to move up to 50NL ASAP.

So your answers depend on what you're looking to accomplish by playing. I am a 15K-20K a month 25NL player. I run at an okay rate plus rakeback, and I've basically set that every couple of months, whatever is in my bankroll above 20BI, I cash out, and my girlfriend and I do *whatever* with it. Trip to a hockey game, new clothes, fancy dinner, or just invest it. As long as my WR > 0, I'm happy.

So, OP, what are you trying to do?

I play poker because I'm a degenerate human being who prefers to live in a virtual world behind a wall of anonymity as opposed to making friends and engaging in risky conduct with the opposite sex.

Nice post. Are you contributing at all to bankroll growth though? I think that NL50 is pretty similar to NL25, and if you can get your bankroll up there eventually you will
  • Double your hourly
  • Cut in half the time required to play to get ironman, FPPS, whatever

I'm not cashing anything out until I'm at NL100, because I feel that then the money will be substantial. Anything up until then is just learning and growth.
