Villain is pretty TAG at 21/16/2

Full Tilt Poker $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
The Official 2+2 Hand Converter Powered By DeucesCracked.com

CO: $13.65
BTN: $31.95
Hero (SB): $47.10
BB: $46.55
UTG: $24.45
MP: $25.60

Pre Flop: Hero is SB with A K
1 fold, MP raises to $1, 2 folds, Hero raises to $3.50, 1 fold, MP calls $2.50

Flop: ($7.25) 3 A Q (2 players)
Hero bets $4, MP raises to $10

I really don't like this board, but where do I go from here? I feel like I want to fold since I don't think villain would be doing this with AJ.

i 3bet PF more, $4-$4.25
with TPTK in a 3bet pot, i c-bet more on the flop. $5.50 sounds good.

i call the flop raise to see what he does on the turn. fold to a push obv unless you spike a king. if he checks behind, bet non-flush river

edit: didnt really pay attention to stack sizes, you are pot committed if you call his flop raise. push/fold here, at NL25 i push all day.

Flop TPTK in 3bet pot and bet, you go broke. Shove allin. Opponent is only half stack as well. Unless you know his calling range preflop, don't fold. He could very well be calling Axs PF. Who knows. This is also a reasonable board for him to bluff raise.

He could be doing this with AQ, QQ or 33, but he also could be doing it with lots of diamond broadway combo draws, or even gutshot+pr hands, so I think you are a little ahead of his range, and there is already some money in the pot, so it is +EV to get it in with all the draws out there.

Well half stacked in comparison to me, but he's at 100BB.

Alright well this hand never actually occured (villain folded on flop) but I was just curious how some of you would play it. It seems like the right move would be to push, makes sense.

Perhaps against a nittier low aggro monkey I would fold here?

The raise PF is fine IMO.

In a 3-bet pot I think that when you flop TPTK 100 bbs deep getting all in is rarely a mistake.

For 100 bb's I felt TPTK

When you c-bet so small on the flop, you just invited him to raise with a lot of weaker holdings. He could be raising AJ/AT now, because you look like you're just trying to buy the pot cheap with 99-JJ/KK.

In short, TPTK in 3bet pot = GO NUTS!

For 100 bb's I usually felt TPTK

I wouldn't be comfortable either, but what is Villain's range? If you are beaten, it is likely by AQ or 22, not A2 or Q2. I would call and make a defensive bet on the turn and fold to a raise, or I would c/r all-in on the turn if it were a clean one.

folding on the turn after calling on the flop is very bad, and folding after betting out on the turn is worse (calc the pot odds and u'll see why)
