Playing Against a Loose Sticky Fish

I didn't put him much on a Set because of the mini-bets (preflop, flop, turn). I was ahead of his range on all streets.

Seems fine with me, raise more on the flop (and as a result turn) to be able to leave a reasonable sized bet on the river... Now you have to bet more then a pot to get his stack.

But against this villain you can't really fold (I expect him to bet his own 2p on the river if he made that with the A hitting). One pair I might check back on the river.

I think that bombing the river is a mistake. What is going to call such a huge overbet except hands that beat you? I'd bet smaller to try to get a third street of value from him.

Villain himself only little over pot left on the river.

I would bet bigger on flop and turn. I would go to .20 on the flop. Then there is .62 in the pot on the turn. Then you could amp it up to .55 on the turn. One minor thing I'll add though, is in that situation when villain doesn't have much left and we have a pretty big stack is to bet the value of his stack. If we shove our whole stack in it looks a lot scarier even though we are only betting his effective stack. I know the bet is the same, but it might be perceived differently from a fish when he sees a huge bet go in on the river even though it's still just his effective stack.

His line looks like tipical drawing d/c. Turn potsize is good.river is okay too. Hes a fish he calls any Axs he had a fd withand picks the ace otr. Fish even herocalls kings here. With hands he beats you. He would donk one the river
