Re: Perky Debt

What a clown...he makes a thread that doesn't go the way he thought it would, things get sticky and he gets called out for possible shady activity, has ample opportunity to clear his name............takes a vacation during the time of WSOP final table and doesn't return.

Ethics committee? Hell no this guy has all the attributes to run for congress.

Re: Perky Debt

sorry for the grammar, english is not my first language

Its weird the chip dumping when you can do a standard transfer. it sounds fishy.

but on the other hand, lets say perky didnt talk about the scam before chip dumping. Is there any way traheho can think perky could be staked ?

I mean, why would he think perky is scamming a staker. The guy is horrible, give him a reason to think someone is willing to stake that guy ? The guy is a degenerate.

I dont feel bad for Alec. From what it sounds like, they sheared this fish for millions until they finally skinned him. Now they want him to make good when he is likely busto. I just see this as part of the territory when it comes to professional hustling. When a fish is completely cleaned out you don't keep chomping at the bit. You accept those "losses" (unpaid debt) as part of the game, part of your line of work and move on.

And lets be clear. In this setting, Alec et. al are basically professional hustlers. Their primary goal is not to play better than others in an open competition kind of way. Their goal is to setup high-stakes games with fish where they are massive favorites. Then when the fish dumps it all off, they move on to the next mark. This guy was probably such a mark that he was basically drawing dead at having a penny left over. Legally the money is yours, but if someone played a game where they didn't know that the end result is that 100% of the time they'd be broke, most people would call that being cheated. So in that sense its somewhat immoral to take their money.

But I'm not here to tell you how you should make your money. After all, I'm a professional gambler, so I'm guilty too. My point is that you should feel blessed for the money you did win (which I see almost as a gift), instead of praising yourself for all your hard work and dedication at fleecing someone and then feeling entitled to the guy's bank account as you break him. Get over yourself; this poker arena is the wild west. You have two options when it comes to this kind of debt: get violence involved, or swallow your pride. Own up to whatever choice you make, instead of crying like a *****.

Let me simplify, it is not cheating to gamble with someone who does not give a **** whether or not they can beat you, but still want to compete with you for money. I have friends that have lots of money and love poker and will look you in the eye and pass a lie detector test when they tell you that there is no way Benyamine is better than them at PLO. That is just a random example. Is Benyamine/Galfond or whoever cheating someone that wants to play them in cards when they know their opponent can't win, yet their opponent would laugh at such a notion?
