Pre flop: Raising is fine, calling is fine. Prefer raising though, getting a bit better protection if you get HU

Flop: I would go for a smaller sizing, you don't need to bet so big with your range. Smaller bets accomplish the same thing and it's not as if your trying to protect as the board is quite dry. Also, you don't want to bet large into 2 people with second pair.

Turn: Sizing is horrible, your SPR (Stack to pot ratio) is very bad...I mean your leaving 31bb into a pot of 180bb+..when your bluffing on the river know one will be folding to this bet as the odds are so good. But if you think about your entire range, as you will need too when you move up to higher limits, this turn is actually awful for you. You should be checking a lot on this type of card. Not saying it's the right play but when you bet it should be small, maybe like 20-30 bb and jam river.

All in all, your sizings were all wrong post flop. You got saved by the best turn in the deck, I would like to know what you would of done with a brick turn like a 2 or what your turn size would be with AA on this 8.

Yes I didn't like the turn play at all. On the flop I did a half pot bet into a dry board with the possibility of having the best hand. QQ+ is 4 betting me and jj, tt may do as well. On a brick turn I check and hope for a cheap showdown. With AA I should check for pot control but I would probably spew. Obviously I would of preferred a non club 8 on the turn.

this flop should be checked at a pretty high frequency. this combo is a super clear check for a variety of reasons. you should check turn with full range due to the equity shift that this turn brings (your overpairs become extremely devalued; your value range is only flushes - not enough combos). if you're betting all your straights, think of how extremely face up and weak your checking range becomes

+1 data.

I'd keep it simple for now and flat 99 pre. 3B is okay, just will put you in more awkward spots as you'll often face overs + 99 isn't doing so hot vs villain continuing range.

x flop, AP x turn for data's reasons.

I like a small turn bet w/ bluffs and value hands in these spots personally. Especially w/ your stack size here it's perfect for small bet, and value river shove.
