Do I call only to set mine? What about a flop that brings all unders and he fires 3/4 pot into me?

No way are you calling to set mine with QQ.

Shove here probably. Sometimes I just call on the flop to give him the opportunity to fire a second barrell.

Tough spot, because you could be behind, and yet there is a group of players who basically sit in a hand, raise any two cards here if there is a raise, then leave before the blinds. I track when it happens to me for the future.

I'd likely raise, but my bankroll can support it.

Ok, newbie here so just my thoughts. You dont know anything about him and have only put in $1.10 so far. Sb has called ur raise oop and (is still to act). The BB rr could be aa-1010,ak or aq. Knowing nothing about him I would call and pray for under cards. If all unders and facing all in then prob fold (even more so is SB calls rr as well) and if an A or K comes up im out. If he checks to me then im pushing. I would find this v hard to to do in real life (wanting to push pf)but looking at it subjectively and having been stung quite a few times in this exact situation against aa and kk, this is what I have come up with.

Is this bollox or reasonable?

looks like aa v kk v qq to me.

No seriously, this is tough spot against complete unknown in first hand. Also mp posting here makes the situation slightly different because there is more money in the pot preflop and imo people look to steal the blinds more. I prob call and get it all in on no overcard flop.

LOL. Clearly the SB was slowplaying those K's in case the BB would re-raise.

LOL. I think you're serious......LOL. If someone is that smart at 25NL, they're not gonna be playing half stacked.

I was just cracking a joke, man.

I would have played the hand the same way you did. I know it happens, but I don't see the AA-KK limp from the blinds very often.

To andy... this doesn't look like AA v KK v QQ at all. It doesn't particularly matters that, that is what happened. You can't be searching for monsters under the bed.

Sometimes villian has AA/KK...but his range is much wider than that. If you have really really nitty stats/or reads then maybe things can be thought differently.

Let's not be results oriented here.

QFT. This is basically what I was about to write.

Don't start folding QQ every time you see a $3 raise. You should at least be calling and continuing on any reasonable flop. Better yet, I would be re-raising here. If you make it 10 or 11, and the cold-caller over-cold-calls, and *then* there's a shove, you can be more convinced that AA and/or KK is out.

Somebody new is going to see this and think you're serious.

Like I'm fine with this at tables but at a forum like this especially from someone with a lot of posts (cause they often will be looked up to whether good or not) I think sarcasm should be more easily detected or give some kind of disclaimer or something.

Edit: BTW your avatar is really disappointing cause I originally thought you knew her, but I have recently learned the truth due to another post....Is still a really nice avatar though.

I would shove - then quickly hit the auto-reload button, so I have a full buy-in ready to go when he flips over KK/AA.

He "might" have JJ/TT/AK - that would be sweet.

Embrace the variance.

As you saw I played the hand just as everyone suggested. What really pissed me off was that this guy is really one of the nittiest players I've ever played against. After that first hand, he wasn't involved in more than 1 or 2 pots for the remainder of my session. Friggin luckboxes.
