sorry to bump this but I just now saw a few replies and made me think a few things.

Assuming this guy limps with 77+ is wrong no?

I did a pokerstove of the range I personally thought he had and got this:

Board: 4c 6s 5d
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 44.225% 42.19% 02.08% 5815519 286767.00 { AdAh }
Hand 1: 55.775% 53.76% 02.08% 7409372 286768.00 { 66-22 }

--

Maybe I'm paranoid tho

I don't think he has 22 here, and if he does his range is a lot bigger than 22-66.

Also calling is a bit cack because any 2, 3, 7 or 8 is going to kill the action.

People looking for a fold will always find one.

Raise it up, get it in.

22? id rather go with A7s, A3s, 65s, 54s, 67s, 78s, 89s and 33-99

yeah guess I assigned range based on preflop action rather then flop action...

Considering this is 10NL its more likely he has an overpair. You see this play all the time at this level. Guys re-raising and stacking off on a flop like this with 99-JJ.

Considering the SPR is about 3 an over pr is good enough to get it all in. I'm shoving this hand and making a note on the player for next time.

EDIT: SPR is 2.3 All in without question!!

All in.

Honestly this is why you guys are stuck in the micros, you read some poker theory and you suddenly think folding every hand is so smart, people are full of sh*t in 6max, more often then not they have nothing, if you fold you cannot win, widen up the range your willing to get it in with, your goal is not to minimize variance it is to maximize profit, if your gonna fold everytime someone raises you, then why don't you just cash out and mail me your money.

off topic: People should do research to social response bias on 2+2. It's just damn funny how people become confident to throw out all kinds of one-liners once some respected name gives his opinion.

I'd like to see those names giving the opposite advice once and see what happens

all in

he shows up with pair+draw, lower overpairs, top pair type hands much more often than he has set/2pr/straights

This is very, very true. Every day new posters should grunch one thread. Make a long and detailed response. Don't worry about being wrong, don't look at anybody else's responses. Then compare it to the rest of the answers from the good posters. If you're completly totally wrong they will soon tell you but at least you're thiniking and learning for yourself.

FWIW I always grunch a response before I look at other people posts, especially in SSNL. If you look stupid who gives a shi_t.
