to clarify my friend an i went to dayton last weekend, he started in evanston and i believe it was 5 1/2 or 6, idk how far u are away from dayton tho so nvm
Dayton is like 1.5-2 hours away but it's too the south, I only have to stay on I-90 all the way, I'm not sure how tricky it is to get to Dayton.
Chicago is 7-8 hours from Akron.

So, from the looks of it, most of my NL50 friends are essentially not going to be playing $50 this weekend?

Muahhahah, all the fishes monies will be all mine muhhahaha

Can we change it from the "Baluga" Theorem to the "But I was dealt aces you worthless, rimjobbing whore" Theorem?
09-28-2007 , 08:23 PM
ok guys, im being worthless about putting in hands, so since i dont have alot of plans set this weekend, and my roommate is outta town, my goal is to put in 10k hands by 12am Tues, 2+2 time
09-28-2007 , 09:19 PM
so I tried playing like a taGfish tonight 17/13/1.9 and it works like magic. up 3.6 buyins in 1100 hands.
09-28-2007 , 09:33 PM
also why do they always check min raise you and then lead into you on the next street even if you haven't been aggressive at all? it really is annoying it is like the only movies people have is to slow play you or they are doing it as a bluff. It's got so bad I have stopped cbetting and basically stopped betting anything that is not a made hand. Oh and playing back at it never ever works.
09-28-2007 , 10:05 PM
some people just can't stand having money
09-28-2007 , 11:23 PM
Is this a standard $50 NL graph these days? And what's up with the 15 buyin upswing the last 3500 hands?

09-28-2007 , 11:57 PM

More like what's with the 15 buyin downswing? Must have been some serious tilt/poor play, I had a 12 BI downswong recently at 50NL and I'm sure a good chunk of it was suboptimal play. I bet a mostly tiltless player would have one of those straight lines into robustooo

geesh how many times can 70/40s pick up better premiums when i finally get one against them...button vs blind no less
09-29-2007 , 02:13 AM
So I am updating my HUD and wanted to add colors for the Won $ When Went to Showdown. I was thinking of the following ranges:

0-40% means the player is going to showdown with weak hands
40-60% is optimal
60-100% means the player is not making it to showdown enough.

Do these values make sense or should I tighten the optimal up to 45-55%?

HBomb: Trip canceled, however still not gonna be playing 50NL this weekend due to moving down to 12 tabling 25NL until I'm running good again.
