And with a blast, and a boom, I bring you folks a little bit of the Atlantic right here into the brew. I've been cooped up in a "fun ship" for the past week, getting drunk, playing on those new-fangled "poker pro" machines (I want my dealer back,) and taking names. In true BP style, all I have to show for the trip is a full notebook of ramblings. No shirts, no hats, no shot glasses. I did drop a buyin or two at the 1/2 game, though.

Storm

If the storm never passed, he would think of beauty. He would think of soft curves and powdery skin- fragile hands, sharp eyes. The crack of lightning would rip the sky into two, or three, or four pieces, illuminating each section, projecting images of all the women he had ever known.

The thunder would roar, and he would feel a light caress slowly running from the bottom of his neck to his head. Little hairs on his arm would buzz until they were electric, as her hand would move it's way up to his hair. The rain, torrential rain, would pour and pour, until every inch of the earth- every field, every tree, every formerly rolling plain was blanketed with water. Her eyes would meet his, and hold a gaze. Asking. Pleading. Wanting. As the water rose ever higher, threatening everything he knew, her eyes would guide him. He would never worry.

It would all end, and he would never know.

As a midnight storm passes through the atmosphere on this humid summer eve, he hopes he'll never know.
