Gelford, how are things with Ellen with regards to you and Mrs. Gelford's life? I mean other than having less time together, are things more/less stressful than they were during pregnancy? (I'm trying to do research for a few years down the road )

We have plenty of time ... kinda .. at least that is not the biggest issue, the biggest issue is sleep and pain.

Mrs. G more or less hasn't sleept since giving birth, which is why I play baby poker, so she can catch up (tho then she is soo stressed that she can't sleep often)

Also lil G is an angel in the day time, but once you hit midnight she insist on being entertained (which means she starts to cry, you do something with her, she stops crying ... then gets bored and starts crying again ... try something else till she stop ... then gets bored and rince repeat until 5 am)

She needs to be feed every two-three hours as well ... and breast are worn thin (also stitches from the birth and stuff is hurting)

Still rumour has it that once the milk start flowing bigtime, baby will eat more and thus sleep more

Cliff notes: Gelford is lacking a bit of sleep but doing fine, Mrs G is exhauted.

Tho I can imagine that if you where together with one ot the usual female nutjobs that populate this earth, then this might well turn out to be hell !

Yeah, that's kinda what I meant with less time, just due to being tired most of the time. It's cool that everything's still okay though, we actually had another scare recently, but it's okay now. (She was like 2 weeks late, whew imo).

Well ... before baby, I was sitting in front of my computer a lot ... now I'm sitting in front of my computer a lot with a baby in my arms or beside me in her lift.

go to autotrader.com and autotrader.ca and compare prices. Then check the exchange rate cad/usd.

Autos can be a very good investment if u can buy in the USA and sell in Canada.

I guess they may not be a bad investment if you were actually to go into the car trading business, but for personal use they're (almost) never going to make you money. Almost definitely lose you a chunk

AND I'm in aus, so every car over like 70k has a ~50% luxery car tax

wow...thats messed up.

Im in a good situation for buying a car. I live in the USA for now but may be moving back to Canada. The price difference is so huge it would be stupid for me to not buy a car here. Canada has a way higher sales tax and some luxury taxes on nice cars too.. But if I buy while im 'living' here, i believe they wave all the standard duty taxes and fees that I would have to pay. So id get away with the cheaper price and only 6% sales tax.

And the car im looking at has a 20k spread between US and Canada. Im basically stupid if I dont buy one soon. .
