Yeah, exactly. 7-5 every day. This industry is pretty dead here so I have been kind of assuming that I will get laid off pretty soon as we have gone through 5 or 6 rounds of layoffs in the last 18 months. The other day, after 15 or so more layoffs, my boss told me that I will be here all the way until the company shuts it's doors if it comes to that, I have mixed feelings about that. I'd kinda like a severance package and a few weeks off.

Sup brew

My confidence is starting to return for Fulltilt....used their new cash pickup option, and received cash in hand within 3.5 hours from clicking withdrawl. I still miss epass, but I really need the option of cash when I need want it. To be fair my last check took 11 days, but I guess with neteller/firepay/epass I have been spoiled.

Same freaking thing here. Makes for the most annoying work environment ever, even if you somehow know you're "safe". Knuckleheads running around with chicken little syndrome b/c they're sure they're going to get laid off

Poker is turning around for the day.

I went AI with the nuts on the turn and it held up!!!

And I wouldn't really mind getting laid off .. actually it would make me happy tbh ...

If I got laid off I probably wouldnt read 2+2 as much.

Would log more hands for sure. I have thought that it could be good drawing UE for a period of time and loggin more hands. In my area the savings on gas/expenses and increased hands might be a good thing for a small period of time.

hey brew,
I finally got to Cracow.
Left yesterday at 16.44 from Kaposvár by train to Budapest, got there in a couple of hours and spent the evening with a friend of mine drinking. 6AM bus to Cracow which was around 2,5 hours late with the arrival because of some traffic jams in the Polish mountains due to some extreme rain. got here by 17.00 and was exhausted, but my ex came over to freshen up our relationship. all went good, but we split by the end of the night with me telling her to step out of my life. Exhausted, gonna watch some DC video and go to sleep at 10PM, haven't done this in a loooong time.
Tomorrow will have to pay the bills, collect some monies from people that owe me, take care of that stuff in school I was ranting about earlier this month, take my mom's satellite receiver to get it fixed and will have to do a lot of waiting in lines to pay the property taxes for the apartment. BUSY DAY tomorrow, not looking ahead to it at all

Brag- when out with my ex, treated myself to a new pair of sneakers.

Hope everyone had an outstanding day, or ameribrew will have one.

Averaging $5.00 a tip..thats solid.....you woulda been pissed around this college town. I bet they average 2.00 - 3.00 max. You kinda made me feel cheap, since I have always just tossed a couple bucks and not thought twice about it. Yet at a restaurant I make sure to tip 15% - 20% depending on service/quality.

I can vouch that working for a ****ty pizza place in a college town is pretty lame. I had to work like a 10 hour shift to make over $50 in tips, and I believe my hourly for my paycheck was below min wage too. Let's just say I'm glad I am kinda decent at poker now

I live in the sticks now and nobody delivers but when I lived in Richmond I used to always tip $4 and now it would be $5 with the higher fuel prices imo. I always start at 20% and move up from there at a restaurant. (It usually depends partially on how hot the waitress/bartender is.)

nice results but why do you play like a fish? shortstacking and starting hands at 4$ at NL25 instead of reloading. No respect for you game sir. If u are going to shortstack you might want to do that instead of playing as if u were 100BB deep on a stack of 20BB and less usually

yeah, i have been averaging $5 since the gas shot up to $4 a gallon ... people just feel sorry for ya i guess but im not doing this for people to feel sorry for me, im doing a honest days work, it may not be hard work but in 90 degree weather with high humidity and no AC i would call that a good workout especially when u can see salt gather on my back from the amount of sweat
07-23-2008 , 02:54 PM
i think im going to put in a session

Wow, we've been pretty slow, until like 10 when nobody's around, unless it rains, then we get hit early.
