FWIW - My brother has numerous swords... but he also keeps a 44 Magnum, in case the burglars forgot to bring their swords for a fair fight.

On the end of Pokeys story, I watched all 5 dirty harry films a month or so back.

Some questions for those of you who play SnG's.

1. What is the equivalent level to 50NL/100NL cash games? Is it the $10/$20 BI SnGs?
2. Are the players worse than equivalent level cash game players? Certainly seems so - I just won a $10 SnG for $50, didn't have a clue what I was doing, and the play looked pretty awful.
3. With today's focus on cash games, are SnGs a forgotten and profitable little secret? I'm kinda sensing maybe they are.

SNGs are like a S&M parlour, fine if you enjoy pain.

Or you scare the hell out of an actual burglar who panics and shoots you.

I'm guessing you're a really big dog and got very lucky.

The play isn't that bad, especially on Stars. Even down at the $6 turbos over half the field is probably playing a near-perfect push-fold game.

sngs are a joke... varince is just sick and you edge is pretty small compared to cashgames.

Actually, many a times I've experienced the sit&go players being worse than the cash players. Obviously there's plenty of total ******s in the cash games, but i actually do think the average sit&go player is worse than that of cash.

I'm not really sure how versed Chomp is in sng's but if he's basically only a cash player there is really no doubt at all that he's a dog.

A friend of mine played them regularly for a while, he said they are fishy even at 20$. It's just push or fold and can be brutal if you run bad.

i think it would improve your hand reading
and it's not a bad thing to play HU from time to time i guess
i want to do it, but the rake at NL50 HU is too high, I'll wait till i got enough BIs for NL100HU
