Seen a lot of AK threads recently and people have been complaining so we could get all the AK hands posted in one place? Is this a good idea or not? Mods can delete it anyway if nobody wants it here.

I will start it off with this one:

This was a weird hand I had earlier. I was playing 56/51/26 over like 100 hands (!) as there had been some spewy regs and fish at the table up to this point (myself included probably).

I would normally flat pre but I thought I would cib and hope that the fish called before the reg shortstacker jammed it in - thoughts on this? Anyway once both called and this flop came down I decided to just jam it in seeing as I had under a psb vs the shortstacker and the fish could find a call with a lot of random stuff on this board?

would make it like 16bb pre or around that. I mean, do you think fish can have a hand that he calls 12bb with but not 16bb? probably doesn't matter much though.

Now on the flop why do you think he's more likely to call a shove with random stuff than a 30bb bet on the flop and shove on turn with random stuff? Not to mention that by that way you get 30bb of value from his super random stuff that calls once and folds turn but will not call a flop shove. Or he can shove his random crap that might not call a shove. This just looks like you are scared of a wet board or scared of getting jammed on

edit: oh and about the thread: idk if it really works since the spots you get into with AK can be so different from each other... preflop 3+betting, postflop single-raised pots, postflop 3bet pots, with or without initiative, flopping nuts/air etc. It's not like you can generalize it like you could do (to some extent) with topsets, combo-draws etc

Id prefer an AK preflop thread since if we have a AK general thread why not AA or KK or 55 thread?
