The line is the difference in total games won.

So Wawrinka -7 means that Wawrinka needs to win by 7 or more games throughout the course of the match.

If Wawrinka wins 6-4 6-4 6-4, he won 18 games to 12, so his opponent covers because Wawrinka won by less than 7 total games.
