I spent the last several days and countless hours going over it, making graphs, analyzing it, doing some differentials and I've come up with about...

Spoiler:
tree fiddy.
Spoiler:
you knew what it was before you even clicked it!

I have played 2/5 HU PLO.

My rake has gone from 4,4bb/100 to 11,7bb/100

That is crazy!!!

Maybe people start seeing it for wat it is, a raketrap which has zero value w/o SNE rakeback and/or lifetime heater. Still blows my mind how so many people still grinding it. You should just once look at rake paid vs. tablewinnings after 250k hands and youll likely be cured

0 value lol. even if ur not that good and grind 200z with only 1bb wr ur still making like 40 bucks an hour w rb.

Which you will realize all in a few months heater, then breakeven for 1 year

If your true winrate is 1bb, its time to find a different game

it was just an example how something with "0 value" can have decent hourly for most ppl. If ppl are so worried about how much rake they are paying relative to other games then they should be grinding 1c rakefree hypers. Hourly is all that matters.

Teh really sad thing is that 40$ is considered a strong hourly now lmao

Hang on just one sec. You can make those second hand porsche repayments with that $40 hourly.

The swings around a $40 hourly with a 1bb win rate would be so repulsive that unless you are almost risk neutral I can't see how it would appeal to you. As soon as stress from poker starts over flowing into life it's not worth it imo unless you're earning a huge amount of money

The main problem w having 1bb is really how long u will have it. One rake increase and ur hourly goes from 40 to about 3.5ish

lol guys i made one random example how zoom doesnt have 0 value, there is no point in analyzing and nitpicking it to shreds by bringing in hypothetical swings and rake increases. My point was simply that zoom has value (atleast for now and has had value since the start) and that total rake paid means nothing in terms of profitability.

So isn't there any other place to play without paying huge rake? I played on 888 and it is only bumhunting. There are no place left where one can find some regular games running daily?

it has a ton of value. For Stars. Its most likely the biggest aids ever developed by a pokersite. Gotta love those guys at FT

Its 2016, go figure. Even if there would be one great site it would take max 1 week until great becomes ok-ish

• Spin & Go rake will be increased by one percentage point for buy-ins from $1 to $30 (two percentage points in $3 buy-in). $0.25, $60 and $100 buy-ins will not change.
• In multi-table tournaments, PokerStars will match the practices deployed in our closed liquidity markets where rebuys and add-ons incur fees similar to the original entry. These tournaments represent approximately 12% of the current main schedule.
• MTT hyper-turbo rake will be increased to 5%.
• Cap and percentage of rake will be increased in some no limit and pot limit ring games, mainly heads-up. Some rake caps will be lowered. Limit games will not be affected.

'some games' is kind of vague, but I don't see anything about 6max cash rake being raised. Am I wrong?
Maybe I should not be reading this so early in the morning.
