DriveHud2 - best of both worlds

So the HUD creation isn't complicated like hand2note? It takes me a while to find stats.. PT4 is so simple..

Has anyone used the paid features on hand2note? Are they worth the sub? Or can I use PT4 in conjunction with other SW to achieve similar?

If you know what stats you want, it's pretty easy to search for them.

There is definitely more of a learning curve in comparison to PT4, but not as much as H2N. At least from the limited experience I have with H2N. I downloaded a trial version a while back, and was super overwhelmed.

PT4 works fine.. I came from HEM2 which I loved, but PT4 seems so much more smoother in comparison..

Hand2note looks very good, but I don't want to have to spend ages making an HUD lol.. Even standard stats sometimes don't appear in the search so maybe I have to create them?

Rake in split pots is an awfull feeling.

Any recommendations on a paid equivalent?

jurojin is 2 yrs old but it's still technically early access. People might remember how buggy it was 1.5-1 yrs ago, but it's improved a lot. I'm really not bothered by that model and I'm sure when they offer some paid features many will sign up and that's how they'll make their money.

look at all the timely updates, this isn't a hobbyist project

100% they've been making money off you just haven't disclosed how - it's especially important to consider that anyone capable of building software like that could be earning 6 figures a year in normal employement - you don't punt over a quarter million dollars in sklansky earnings working full time for a company until they figure it out and can start paying people

maybe you're ok with them mining your hand histories, but what if they are also keylogging and gathering crypto holdings info? what if they are relaying your hands to superusers as you are playing? the point is since they don't disclose, we literally have no idea if it's something benign like using your spare cpu cycles to mine dogecoin or something nefarious that will cost you your life savings

I agree with the sentiment @rickroll but I also agree that talking about superusing and keylogging is a bit of fearmongering. Jurojin has been around for 2 years, tons of winning regulars use it.

They aren't aiding superusers, to insinuate it's even possible seems just wrong.

i think it'd be helpful to actually read what i wrote becfore trying to break it down

i pointed out their business model didn't make sense and they'd been lying about "releasing a paid version soon" for 3 years

this means they are certaintly doing something to make money to pay salaries for the team of devs and we don't know what it is - superusers was one of many examples and never a key argument nor a plausible situation just an example of the range from benign using spare cpu cycles to mine dogecoin to something far worse

in response they admitted they do indeed send back hh to their servers but said it was for bug checking which is just an absurd excuse they came up with because they were probably worried someone would read what i wrote and run a packet sniffer and then see that data is indeed getting sent to their servers so they wanted to have their bases covered if someone did that, think of it as a new version of the "we'll start charging soon"

what can i say, people want free software and are willing to close their eyes and ignore a ton of red flags and unknown levels of risk done by a group of individuals who choose to be anonymous - which is extremely unusual in itself

i feel like i've mentioned it in the relevant threads and from here on out am not going to put in any efforts to point out they are opening themselves up to the unknown when there exists safer alternatives for nominal costs

Guys I've lived a **** life with many struggles.. Some (most?) Due to how I have chosen to live my life.. Living with depression and feeling **** when I open my eyes each day really takes it out of me.. I've met some good people on this forum since I joined back in 09 and want to say thanks to you all..

I'm at a stage in my life where I want to get the old me back.. Depression.. Anxiety.. Addiction to class A drugs have made me someone I simply don't recognise anymore.. But I'm making the right choices to be a better person.

My parents are old now - mom 76 with severe health issues and my dad is 80 with dimentia.. I haven't deserved a lot thats happened to me over the years, but having a community such as this and poker really has helped me.
