That sounds right but wouldn't it be better to play where there's a smaller number of tables so you can be there for more of the total % of hands the card room is dealing? Although I suppose mathematically the odds are the same for everyone to lose quads over quads. I've played almost 200K hands (which is absurdly small I know) and I've never lost to quads over quads.

HEY PJO!!!
LOVE YOU!!

HEY PJO!!!

TOTP FAILURE F-
I beat a guy SF over SF once at Borgota - no BBJ at the time

That sucks. They jerked you obviously.
11-17-2010 , 12:01 AM
<------------won 3.3k at BBJ and had to explain to the ******edly Dumb/Hot/Asian girl that she had won 17k.

She was like 2 seconds away from folding the river on AAJA6 with JJ. (BBJ back then was Aces full of jacks beaten by 4 of a kind.) ****ing douchebag capped the flop c/r Turn and bet river with A8. She like tank called $10 into many moneys, and was sad that she had lost.

Limit hold em at a stud table. 2003.

Lucky bastard. I hope you bought blow with that 3.3K. Anything less would be uncivilized.

I've played a lot more than that and never even seen quads over quads at my table.

Nah man.

Its a total beat.

I was in a card room when they still had stud tables. Which clearly makes me old as ****. Also I helped the girl get her money/explained what was going on etc....Then I said "we should spread all the money on a bed and go at it" She was like UHHHHHHhhhh, I am going to hang out with my boyfriend.

I mean it was worth a shot. She was really happy and kind of touching me a lot which I took as she wanted to ****. But in reality she was just really excited to win 17k. In my defense, I could tell she thought about it for a split second. which is nice

play FR for 1day and you will lose quads over quads in less than a hour

Thinly veiled brag about an asian girl wanting to bone you for a second. Although you probably should have phrased it differently. Maybe had you laid a smoother line on her you would have had an indecent proposal experience.

That's because you've played 1MM hands at 200NL+ and no one ever makes a hand at those limits. You all just beat each other with 1 pair and A high right?

Smoother line?

In that situation is there really a smoother line than "lets spread 20k on a bed and **** on it?"

lol

nearly all of my online hands are at 100nl and down
11-17-2010 , 01:42 AM
I seriously need a coach, one that is good, but not one looking for $450/hr. I don't blame them for offering it that rate given their performance and probably their hourly, but how are 99% of all online players even going to consider being able to afford that? I mean I don't play high stakes, but I don't play the lowest of stakes either and even that rate sounds kind of hard to handle just for coaching sessions.

It's funny cuz I've actually had a guy with over a half million in winnings emailing me sporadically asking me if I'm ready to make a deposit to have him start coaching me. He also comes from the Conshohoken area so it'd be even cooler if I got to sweat him playing live and listen to why he's making such decisions instead.
