its okay to check every now and then, but seriously, you don't need to check every week. You obv have some mental record of where you should be at, try and go as long as possible until you need to check it.

Reasons to need to check it:

time for a withdrawl
time to see if we should move up
time to see if we should move down.

once you get rid of that itchy cashier finger its really easy. Also actively try to avoid seeing ur balance when you buy in...that ruined it for me a few times in the beginning.

only way i would buy this is if I was playing krantz in some sort of HU situation and I felt that going into the match he had a >14k edge on me.

at some point it is probably too much. The only way I would buy something like those is if I had a huge donkament score so my skill is lower than my bankroll reflects

but I'll toss $50 in on a brew copy

Need a withdrawal this sunday.

But it also seems a little hard to not see results when you review sessions (which I was going to save for sundays)

I also like to keep track of how many hands/hours I play in a day.

But I've been trying to guesstimate that by looking at the VPP screen on the new pokerstars lobby.

probably is...I've never done one tbh.

My session reviews are pretty weak though, I just filter my top losing hands, and some winning hands and see if I could have played them any differently for more value/save money.

Unless pjo is around, then I can review like every other hand.

Nog, get on facebook sometime, then accept my friend request.

I don't do enough hands tbh, or go deep enough into the hands I look at.

And definitely don't do that either.

I just do all > 20 BB winning or losing, but I dont always do it and sometimes I have a tendency to just skim and go standard when it may not be if I would look harder at it. a 25 BI downswing and NOW Im looking pretty hard

lolwsopFTtaxaments

in other news i just put a little bit more money onilne in the hope of making some more ŁŁ as the Ł slips a little more vs the $, should give me a ~6% ROI in a couple of weeks.

brag: put a ton of money online around the end of June
beat: 3 of 4 of my stakees lost all the $ (two scame)
variance: the EV$ that was all one of them had to show me would be worth a lot more Ł by now

BBV ITT!!!

Its so dumb though...you force yourself to do a bunch of work and you have no idea where the **** you're going. Plus even though poker can be really frustrating I like the fact that if I do well I will make more money and if I do poorly I will starve. I feel like poker is more exponential in its rate of return...if I focus on it for a year or so I could really kick ass. Also it isnt like college is going anywhere I could always go back.. decent chance I will have a change of heart in a semester or so(have till summer to be guaranteed let back) but not right now

Take less credit hours, you won't feel overwhelmed by it, and can still grind hardcore and got some girls.

You're not going to be college age forever, it'll be different if you go back when you're 30.

what does going to class have to do with it though? I've met pretty much no one through classes(though it's hard when I rarely go) it's all from rugby or parties/hanging out with friends. No one's going to be looking at a class schedule I could always lie if there was a reason to. guess it will be different if I move though if I did I'd probably be looking for an area with lots of younger people anyway

I mean it's up to you, but with all this UIGEA **** hitting the fan now it might be a better idea to wait a little longer; imo.
