It was a joke, u obv meant europeans, but u dont rlly say euro's when u mean europeans, euros means the currency that some countries in Europe have. Thus the joke was that euro's as in the currency, cant tell time.
11-28-2010 , 01:57 PM
Oh.

I've always heard europeans called euros. As in "Crazy euros that suck at poker"
11-28-2010 , 02:09 PM
There goes my eeeuuuuurrrrooooooo ... watch him as he goes.
11-28-2010 , 02:12 PM
In America it is totally standard to refer to Europeans as Euros. We were doing this before those coins were invented.

If someone were to say to me "I saw a couple Euros yesterday", I would definitely assume they meant people and not coins.

edit: also we say "a euro" not "an euro", like we would say "a union"
11-28-2010 , 02:15 PM
Idk, it just sounds so strange when u say it out loud, at least here in europe in some countries, where the currency is called euro, it feels strange refer to ppl living here as euros.
11-28-2010 , 02:18 PM
lol ya i can see that

if my friend starting referring to other people as "dollars", it would be silly

us americans have a real knack, tho, for just doing it how we like it even if the rest of the world thinks its dumb
11-28-2010 , 02:37 PM
What BB said - I was saying euro before they became the currency.

Have you seen Euro Trip? The movie isnt about currency.
11-28-2010 , 02:38 PM
"europeans" has two many syllables so we just refer to you as euros... unless you wear tight shirts and hair gel, in which case you are eurotrash

should be stickied imo

I think referring to people as euros is pretty standard, and I myself am a euro.
11-28-2010 , 03:01 PM
Do you guys think that regular ring games at full tilt will get softer during rush week because all the regs will be playing rush?
11-28-2010 , 03:01 PM
I am a station. 3 bet pre was a mistake though.

i generally never squeeze from the blinds with small or medium pocket pairs (22-99) preferring to play for set value in mw pots. is this a big part of anyone's game?

sounds like fish logic to me, no offense mate. it's only gonna get more difficult as you move up.
11-28-2010 , 03:16 PM
Cant believe no one has said it yet, move up where they respect your raises mark.
