I like that one, too.

Grey Goose is very good but 40€+ per bottle is a bit much for me.

11-27-2009 , 04:43 PM
Pretty good.
I don't play as much poker anymore, really really busy with other stuff
Did a 10$ tourney at Pokerstars the other day and made it to second place so trying to build a second roll on PS now, pretty fun to do

You're doing it wrong. Whisky is supposed to be enjoyed slowly. I can easily spend a pleasurable half hour with a glass of proper whisky, nice music and a good book.

It is pretty good, definitely a cut above the cheap stuff I normally drink. The big however is that you can't taste the difference if it is mixed with anything other than seltzer.

Yea I prefer Smirnoff or Russian Standard when I mix it b/c everything above this is to expensive to mix it with Red Bull or w/e.

In which price ange is this Imperial?

Played for 5 hours of live poker with friends at my place. Had to use The Fridge by the end of it.

Here is an interesting probility exercise... if anyone can crunch the numbers, would be glad to see the result.

9 people are playing poker for 5 hours with around 25 hands/hour. The highest connector (suited or non) you get in all that time is AJs. The highest pocket pair is 88. (Other pocket pairs were 44,22,33... you saw each once) What are the chances of running this "well"?

You dont like Smirnoff? Well it is not that cheap here. I pay $18 per bottle which is a bit more then for Russian Standard (maybe $15).

Of course I would only drink Grey Goose if I could afford $60 per bottle.

11-27-2009 , 08:36 PM

What's your favorite Whiskey? Or Whisky, depending on the region (I think, might be making that up).

Since I'm poorish, I usually hit up the bourbons, like Knob Creek. Sometimes' Elijah Craig, and I've been meaning to try Blanton's but I haven't gotten around to it. I had a glass of scotch at a wedding I went to in September that was amazing. I think it was Glenfiddich 18 year, but I can't remember at the moment. I should go bug my friend about that.

While I wait for hell to freeze over (i.e. FTP support to answer my question), I borrowed some FTP $ and am grinding my way up the stakes. (i.e. "why are you playing 2NL"?)

At first glance, this might look at a bad beat hand history but look closer.

Browsing in Safari, I get the "This website may contain malware" window after trying to access 2+2. Anyone else get the same?
