bartolotta is pretty amazing. It's seafood oriented. They fly it in fresh from the Mediterranean every day I believe.

Carne Vino - they have an amazing port for dessert. And their vanilla gelato is the nuts imo.

Their chocolate is very interesting. It's made by an ex-Nasa scientist who lives in the middle of nowhere in Utah. He is in love with cocoa beans and has developed the technology to extract 60 varieties of chocolate. He chooses which restaurants serve his chocolate.

I'm going to make Fees cringe here, but when I ate the chocolate gelato, I thought it tasted just like a chocolate gelato should from any other gelato store.

Oh, but we did have several cocktails, a bottle of wine, and a port so that might've masked it? Chocolate is pretty subtle. I can't get over the Vanilla. I wish I was going to the WSOP. I was planning on stopping by Carne Vino just for the gelato every day.

i don't know, maybe i did it wrong. but i only went to carnevino once and it was such a bad experience that i can't ever bring myself to go back

the meat seemed really dry, the bread was very stiff, the service was pretty bad, and i just overall didn't like the entire experience.

this. the tour isn't the illest phone but the fact it works with sims in just about every civilized country makes it worth having if you travel a lot or spend significant time in other places. my uncle spends half his life in UK half in NYC and just has two relatively cheap phone plans and just switches sims wherever he goes. i hear the new EVO is gonna be the illest though.

NO GORLOM. IPHONE.

friend submerged iphone in water recently. Still works.

iphone is not only a wifi hotspot in itself, but it has a mosquito repellent app. I want to have sex with it.

Last edited by Reefypoopoo; 05-15-2011 at 03:04 PM. Reason: the iphone, not the mosquito app

Hey, if you guys are looking for an interesting movie regarding trading/money/finance check out the documentary Floored on Netflix. It talks about the transition from the traditional traders that were crammed on the trading floor screaming every day to make trades and the transition to the computer and algorithm based trading in the markets that goes on now.

There were SO many parallels to poker it was unreal. It talked about how the information edge has gotten so small with the speed of computers, they showed a guy who was a profitable trader for 20+ years and has now lost for 3+ years on the internet and claims that the computer is evil and it is "rigged", along with other degenerate stories and swings.

Yeah there was quite a bit of discussion about it here when it came out (the whole thing was available to stream for free from the website), some people in BFI knew some of the people featured too.

Hey guys,

Planning on going to Vegas on about June 6 to play a lot of tourneys (all holdem almost certainly) and then the main event. I'm thinking about selling ~30% of myself for the series and wanted to gauge interest in who'd be interested in buying shares. I'd be selling shares for the series as a whole, not just individual tourneys. PM me with offers re: markup, check my PTR etc-- Almost all of my play in recent years has been at NLHE and I've been a big winner at 5-10-25/50, but I started out playing hu sngs. Will give priority to people I've played with a lot/know IRL. Cheers.
