can someone link me to one of those all-in luck analyzers or EV calculators or whatever? I've run so rediculously bad on ftp and just wanna see what it looks like. I searched the software forum (for real!) and didn't find a damn thing. Thanks.

I just found out that pre registration is closed for the ME. Is there any chance that if I show up on the 5th(day 1c) that I won't be able to get in on day 1d?

The graph doesn't reveal coolers and setups.

I registered yesterday, so pre registration is most certainly not closed.

wouldn't this be a example of that, with a huge difference between showdown winnings and total winnings?

This graph would be an example of an FGators clone.

i think he means pre-reg online, which did just close recently. i think u have to register in person now.

adam- not sure if you can register for other day 1s after day 1a begins. probably says somewhere on the wsop website, or u can prolly just call them

You could be forced to continually having to give up hands pre showdown. But that doesn't really hold for such a hand sample.

The difference between showdown and non-showdown can be ascribed to style and doesn't HAVE to be weak-bad fgators syndrome; but for the sake of balancing theoretically it's better to not have them too far apart; and generally you can sacrifice showdown for MORE non-showdown, up to a certain point. But it's hard to say in a vacuum and I'm sure many people do it in the wrong way and sacrifice MORE showdown for non-showdown.

It depends on the stakes, opponents, etc, a lot as well. At lower stakes you want to bluff less against fish and more against nits, and at higher stakes you get more sophisticated bluffing lines (c/r river, etc).

So yeah.. the graphs can help you understand your style and where you MIGHT change things; but winrate is really all that matters.

Can someone please tell me why everyone hates UB? I'm not saying I like UB but I don't think I quite know why they are so hated.

sorry to bother but do you think you could provide an example of both? I tried to fix my leaks via pEV..I played w/the filters and whatnot...and in the end I started to spew too much money!

Yes this is what I meant.

I called the WSOP number and when I asked if I could reg on the 5th he said "probably" or something like that. Which I took to mean as long as its not sold out. I'll call back to clarify. What's the odds of day 1d selling out? or is there even a limited number of tables?

Let's say you never turn showdown-value into a bluff; that could be a spot where you could gain non-showdown moreso than you're losing showdown, simply because you're finding a profitable bluff spot.

An example of the opposite would be cold-4-bet-bluffing preflop every single opportunity. This is not profitable and your non-showdown will suffer big losses.

Spewing money the right way is a very tricky thing; which is evidenced by plays you see at higher stakes by very good players, but that you don't see yourself doing.

At least.. that's my theory..
