In my test drives I preferred it to the Z-4 for power, but it had problems doing max 25mph exit ramp at 50, whereas the Z-4 stayed glued to the road at 65. (Yes, those were fun test drives).

I'm not necessarily dead set on a convertible. As I said, you guys are supposed to be talking me out of this, not discussing options with me. OTOH, I can't really think of a car I like that is not a convertible. You have something in mind?
I have a friend who just traded in his 350z for a used 911. His previous car was a 300z and he loved t, so he got the 350 when it died, but the 350 never really sat right with him. It had plenty of power, but it wasn't "balanced" or something. He said it was seriously unstable above ~120mph, plus didn't corner well. I think your gut is leading your right here to avoid the 350z if cornering performance is important to you.

OMG, glad I don't live there. That town is going to stink of dirty hippies by tomorrow.

Not necessarily. The fault is at the main trunk something like 2-3km from where I live. The water intake station by the lake provides water to those who go there. Stores sold out of bottled water in less than two hours. ETA for service recovery is now "by tomorrow morning" - more or less.

The real fun is that all the jokes came true: we have lots of fresh snow and the news outlets have added a paragraph that for washing and so on melting snow is a good way to get some water. I just filled my brewing barrel to the brim.

So the Football (not handegg) World Cup is coming to South Africa.

I am torn between:

1. Running to the hills for 6 weeks. Literally, my family has a holiday home in the beautiful mountains. I can hire out my house, take the wife and cats, buy a fat ass TV and make a profit from not working for 6 weeks or so; or

2. Sticking out the crowds, congestion, traffic, price gouging and overwhelming (sickening) patriotism to try and experience the World Cup(!).

Advice from anyone who has been through this (Olympics, or FWC)?

Funny because I couldn't hate either of the pictured players more.

(Well, unless Beckham was replaced with Rooney or any random Sp*rs player in history.)

I got to work this morning and there was a space right by the building. Too good to be true I though. Turns out it is some D-Bag who parked his G35 in two spaces. Turns out I could cram my truck into the "space" on the left side. I don't think he will be able to open his door.

I'm trying to decide if I should

1. Not be a bigger D-Bag than the D-Bag himself and move my car.
2. Leave my car where it is, he shouldn't have parked in two spaces when there aren't any surplus spaces to begin with.
3. Put this on his car

I'm leaning to 2&3 combo.... Thoughts?
