renting, paying $2500 for a nice 2br place. I live in a good location in Chicago. I want to/can buy a place, but it might not be the best idea. Everyone I've spoken to that knows what they are talking about is telling me its a much better idea for me to be renting in my current situation and given the current real estate environment.

also sick hidden brag about girls getting ready at your place snipes

that's about what i'm paying per month for a studio in manhattan. i get the feeling i'm pissing away money b/c it just disappears every month rather than goes toward an asset that will appreciate. is this a logical line of thinking? also, about how much am i looking at for a down payment on a manhattan condo? anyone know?

Manifest, you should put your left and right channel speakers on the walls spaced further apart. I have the z-5500s and they seem easy to put on the wall.

manifest, sick place.

I just bought a townhouse (end unit) with my brother and its pretty awesome. Getting a mortgage was much easier than I thought since my brother has a 70k/yr job and banks like to see that kind of stuff. We (I) put 20% down and we got the loan at 5%.

I'll put pics up in the next couple weeks when we finish with painting/lighting etc.

LOL i had to start searching the internets for more funny dog photos and i came across an interesting one. It seems that the person who made this one missed the entire point of the LOLcat/ LOLdog phenomenon.
