are you weighing people who play split levels by their individual levels' total hands rather than overall total hands? IMO that makes 0 sense. As it is you are already giving each level a hands/total hands weightage.

Not sure if this is up for discussion, but IMO everyone who plays multiple levels should get to use their total hands as the WR multiplier for each level. Otherwise you are in essence punishing them for playing 2 different levels vs. 1 single level.

Like lets say someone wins at 5 ptbb at 50 and 100 for 25k hands each.

the way you have it their wr would be:
(1/2)*(2.4*5) + (1/2)*(2.88*5) = 13.2

if same person had put in 50k at 5 ptbb/100 at 50NL then wr would be:
3.19*5 = 15.95

aka punishing the person who plays 2 different levels, even if he wins at the same bb/100 at the higher level which is harder to do anyways. Not sure if there's some way to angleshoot this by putting in 95k at a lower level then using the 100k hands multiplier to get a higher score at a higher level or something, but IMO it makes more sense to use their total hands multiplier for both levels

also wasn't implying that anyone would angleshoot or anything, just trying to make it more fair for the people who are playing multiple levels. I'm only playing at da fiddy so this doesn't really affect me at all

dabomb brings up a good point. That being said, I don't plan on playing any more than 50k hands all at the same limit, so I don't mind the system.

ITT we learn that challenges are often not worth the headaches of arranging them (TY BTW Rice), and that you should lay out every conceivable possibility beforehand

you want angleshooting you should see some of the props in bbv. Some of the biggest angleshoot attempts ever.

this is actually a fairly close call i think. in principle it should just be 100k multiplier if you completed 100k but many of the levels are magnitudes of difficulty harder. so i don't know.

Oh right, I see what we're arguing about...

I was under the impression that if I completed the 100k hands for the month, I would get the 100k multiplier. Would've played more 100NL or just played all 50NL if i knew I was getting a lower multiplier. But like Van said, it's kinda close.

EDIT: Also, just properly read Dabomb's post (as opposed to reading it while 24 tabling) and I think what he says makes sense since we are already weighting the final WR based on % of volume put in at 50NL and 100NL. My multiplier would be a lot higher if I played all the hands at 50NL rather than mixing in some 100NL and my WR would be higher as well...
