Sure it wasn't WCG|Rider? lol I still remember that pic he posted of him 24 tabling the $25 NL tables saying how well he was doing. These days he's at 2/4+ at a pretty young age. But yeah, I remember buying a pokerstars beanie and duffel bag when I thought FPPs were really awesome.. now once you're a full time supernova, they rack up faster than you can spend them at the FPP store.

Funny you say that cuz you Ohio guys are only about 6 hours to the west or so, and yet when I woke up it appeared that the wind was coming from the direct south. It was 40 when I woke up and after I ate breakfast on another thermometer in the house said it was up to 47!?

I agree with Big's assessment of my game. I am running really hot, but I'm also playing the best poker I've ever played. He taught me how not to lose 1/2 of my showdown winnings in non-showdown pots. I can actually have days where I run like crap, but my non-SD winnings keep me close to breakeven. I couldn't do that before. He taught me when and who to 3-bet/4-bet light.

basically what he taught me was stuff that just wouldn't have me crushing 50nl, where I was at, but things that would help me move up and not be lost. This is what I think you miss when you get a coach who has only been at the level you are at, they don't know the things you'll need to know in a level or two.

Ok, sorry to anyone if I said they are just running hot, you guys don't deserve that treatment (udbrky), but I'm the biggest culprit of them all - a hypocrite if you will. Here's how well I've been running in February through my first 15 days of playing. As I said in the SSNL forums, I'm a bit nervous of what may lie ahead at $400's because it's still my first month I ever played a hand at those levels (and although I'm not too impressed by the skill level) I do realize I have been running too hot and will have to be ready to adjust to running bad or even just normal for a few months before I ever decide to move up again. So, my current plan is to cashout roughly all $20k current month profits and move back to the $200's and if I can get back to a 30 BI roll for $400 NL, I'll gladly start taking shots again... but $200 NL is just too fun, and has the best vpp/fpp rate I believe of most stakes on Pstars. But this is what 2 losing day looks like playing 15 days straight.

Dude, I'm running hot. I'm not arguing with you there.

What? C'mon this statement is just misleading. Sure it is better than everything below it, but it is worse than all the stakes above that level.

not worse but it levels off after that point

Well I don't have any empirical evidence regarding VPP/hand rates over multiple levels, but the statement is still misleading.

In other news, I just saw a gruesome story on CNN. It's a true life story of an Eye for an Eye going on in Iran lately. Apparently from what I took of it, a boyfriend wasn't having the best relationship with his girlfriend and I think he was being a little too pushy in the relationship.. eventually it got to the point where he threw acid into her eyes and face. She now has no eyes and her face is very scarred. I think this happened in 2004-2005ish time period and they still had the clothing she was in... which look just like rags now after the acid went through them.

The case ruling is still being upheld in Iranian courts that are saying that the guy will have acid put into his eyes, and the former girlfriend is willing to put the acid in, but probably won't get the chance to.

I saw it on CNN, but I found a story from the Washington Post... worth a read.

I remember him being at $200 NL more than $100 NL on Pokerstars. Is he supposed to be good cuz his stats are pretty bad, although he finished like 12th in a Sunday million I noticed, I forget how much he won, but he never responded to me.
