interesting spot I ran into this week that doesnt really merit its own thread

heros image: 35/30'ish and too aggro postflop (sticking in dominated hands and flooshdraws for too much monies)

villains image: 19/15 and good. has 1 hand with hero involving flatting AQo from blinds and checkraising Q53 flop, then betcalling off his stack on a 8 turn completing a flushdraw 190bb deep

Hero: has AcKx

Eff. stacks 200bb

Villain (SB) raises to 12 at 2/4
Hero reraises to 40
Villain calls

Flop AQc7c

Villain checks, hero ponders checking for a second then decides to bet 60 w/o much a plan

Villain raises to 155

Which plan is best?

A) Reraise to 350 or something and get it in
B) Flat and stack off on any turn
C) Flat and soul-read him on the turn
D) Fold

Man, the day I see someone pull this off with an actual plan I will be super impressed, but it always involves 1/2 PSB left on the river and a tilt-call of the shove

Yeah, the tilt-call is my specialty.

I'd say flatting on flop is standard and there are a ton of different turn cards that you can't really say flat turn/fold turn/shove turn. And why flat the turn if it's a blank? Are you putting him on air to let him 3barrel you or folding to the river 1/2 psb?

I have just as much of a river plan as Clayton had on the flop.

Ya have to flat the flop if you want to continue esp since he's oop. Give him spaz-rope.
But the checkraise is pretty pretty strong here I don't think you are ahead very often.
I think he could flat AK/QQ pre.

Did some numbers fwiw,

Board: As Qc 7c

Wins Ties Equity
12.63% 15.20% 27.83% ( AcKs )
56.97% 15.20% 72.17% ( AK,AQ,QQ,KcQc,JcTc,77 )

Oh yeah, checking back the flop isn't bad at all. I remember stacking a guy with KK on a AQxxx board so it works against some dudes... :-o
I know the standard line is to cbet this board like everytime, best board in the world when you are ip in 3bet pots but some ppl can't fold so give em hope!
