And they're sending these out en masse too! Seriously. They include the link to the "settlement website" in these letters, or at least they once did. It looked like a paypal form.

I like this one especially, they launched a suit against a Princeton student and two others from another school for $90 BILLION DOLLARS. $150,000 DOLLARS PER SONG THEY TRANSFERRED.

Yeah I think it is all pretty interesting. Thanks for the links.

The whole concept of being able to make a perfect copy of something for very very close to free hasn't existed in all of human history so the law hasn't been able to sort it out yet.

Looks like a few law schools are fighting against the RIAA:

Ugh, if I'd been at Absolute this week, I would've won one bad beat jackpot, and been at the table when another was dealt.

I have ****ty timing.

The only 24 hour gym near me isn't a 24 hour gym anymore. I'm not going to pay that kind of money for something that isn't going to always fit my schedule.

But mostly the fact that getting to the gym and such is a big ordeal for me. Right now I just have some bowflex dumbbells and a pull up bar...pretty much all you need imo. I live in a 18 floor building too so I got some nice indoor stairs for cardio if I ever choose to do it.

Total cost was $500 forever instead of $500+/year. And im sure I could get about $300 back if I dont want them anymore selling on craigslist or something.

Wow, Dark Knight was goot. Surprised there wasn't some sort of, you know, media hype surrounding it.

I am jealous. I saw Transformers in IMAX and it was pretty sweet. I didn't really think I would like The Dark Knight this much or I def would have gone to see it.

true true

my only point really was that you need something more than pushups to actually see any results. chinupbar/dumbells/stairs sounds fine to me.

i mean if weight loss is someone's goal, they should be aware that they're really not burning calories unless they spend @ least 5 minutes during a cardio workout in a specific heartrate zone, 140+. 20 mins is optimal and reccomended. Doing pushups won't really lose you any weight, it will just tone pec and to some extent upper arm muscles.

Dickie V shedding some serious heartfelt stories about e-mails he has received from cancer patients/survivors during the Jimmy V game tonight.

It got me wondering if anyone would be down to do a pledge day one day this week where we all agree to donate to the Jimmy V Foundation? Wouldn't have to be much, just whatever each individual can afford.

I don't have any close, close relatives that have been struck with any terrible diseases but it makes me feel like such a bum when I get mad over such trivial stuff from time to time.

I'm 100% donating later this week and I encourage everyone else to join in.

I mean back in the day there weren't no fancy machines using your own body weight as resistance has been used for centuries, although chinup bar does this anyhow. But yeh all those fancy as machines I'd rather stick to basics. Nothing burns fat like running imo, I need to get back into that waiting on my heartrate monitor to arrive should be tommorow so I can train in that zone you talked about, that and using my rowing machine (not fancy) should get me into shape. But I figure, it can't hurt to be doing pushups to. Anything is better than nothing right.

And whats with the brew exercising anyway?
