I'd never heard of him before his death. But he revolutionized agriculture, won the nobel peace prize and saved hundreds of millions of people (some estimates say over a billion) from starvation.

It's kind of a sad reflection on the priorities of our society that his death created barely a ripple in the mainstream media.

Also, here's a Penn & Teller Bull****! segment about GM food featuring Borlaug. It's well worth watching - there's some interesting stuff on GM foods and media manipulation. It's interesting to see the contrast between the special-interest groups and the scientists and how they discuss the issue and the type of language they use.

I suggest you research more on this subject regarding GM food. I might get more into this issue later, because i have to split.

Hmm why should it? Or why shouldn't it? Depends on a lot of things, such as whether HEM is installed there (ldo). Of course it will also have to have access to some database.

Or maybe I don't understand the question

Basically we're doing our weekly sweat today at my friend's place but I plan on doing the playing cus I need the vpps for the cash credits this month. He has his own version of HEM with an active d/b. What I'm not sure of is will HEM recognize a different user name and still import the hands. Or will I have to go in and change the user name? Can I even do that?

No no no do not engage. Your efforts are useless and we will be subjected to pages and pages of infertile debate.

I know you can do it in PT3, I'm sure you can do it in HEM. Just point HEM to import from your HH file and change the active user. My friend and I do this all the time.

I would read it. I read it. It got me thinking. That is all a book needs to do to be of good value right?

I will give the book one warning. It just seems like the author is basically bragging about how he rules. Just look past that.

The best thing to take away from the book is that we shouldn't limit what we believe is possible to accomplish with career and business. After reading that book I do want to take some of his advice. I hope to either have a smoothly running business that will allow me some geographic freedom or if that doesn't work, I will take some mini-retirements as he calls them.

A lot of the stuff where he suggests being a "blue chip escape artists," is just totally unrealistic. That is the stuff where he gives advice on being able to work your normal job from anywhere in the world. Good luck with that one lol.

Just got back home, but i have to split yet again (going to see District 9 with some friends! )

Concerning the GMO issues, i suggested you guys made some research on the subject. I will extend my suggestion to include a specific documentary that has some interesting information.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKABsyX6SM8 (It's split in 10 parts)

I hope you guys see it, so we can discuss it, later, when i'm back at home.

Anyone ever heard of/tried this?
I used to lucid dream all the time, especially when I used to work night shifts and sleep in the day. I kinda fell out of the habit as my sleep patterns changed (got a normal job).
