Why haven't you tried it? Its pretty harmless and could be fun or maybe you don't like it but its not like its going to ever be a terrible experience. First time i smoked i got fed a lot and got the greens and the worst dry heaves and abdomen was sore as **** the next day. I'm not a big fan I've prolly smoked less than 25 times in my life but you gotta try it.

I know it's not technically against the rules to sit down at any table but sometimes common sense should go before following the rules to a T.

""I am afraid all players are free to sit down with you and technically the other player was not doing anything wrong. Even if you ask them to leave and do not wish to comply, we will not be able to warn them for this, as they are not infact not breaking any rule."
Hahaha, I'd give this man money just for doing something as awesome as that.

only real excuse i've heard for never having tried pot is that the person is afraid it will ruin their lives and they will get addicted or something.

but i think if you're the type of person rational enough to fear that, you won't overdo it or whatever. it's only addictive in the same way that eating cake for dessert after every meal is addictive...it's fun but if you're not an idiot you won't do it if it's affecting your life negatively.

so just try it

As a Canadian it tilts me so much when people say this. My knowledge of Georgia the country (pre invasion) came from Splinter Cell and the NBA draft. There are lots of really ignorant people all over the world.

I have never smoked weed, despite having tons of friends that to do. I am not afraid of it or anything, it's just that I am already really lazy and weed would make me even lazier. BTW a legitimate excuse for not trying weed is that it's bad for you, that would make a lot of people hypocritical because they drink, eat fast food, etc. But it would be a perfectly rational reason not to smoke weed.

In the summer of 2007 I bought a Tag Carrera, I came back to Toronto for reading week in Feb/March 2008 and when I left I couldn't find the watch. I was convinced it would eventually turn up since I never got that drunk before the watch went missing and it is a pretty tough watch to steal as it has a double clasp. By the time I came to Vegas this June it still hadn't turned up so I reluctantly assumed it was gone. I had just won 5k betting on horses and was in the middle of a 100k tourney upswing, so I decided to buy a Breitling. I just got a phone call from my dad saying he found the Tag. So I currently have a $4k breitling and a $2k Tag.
What's the best line for me to take?
Sell one of the watches?
Sell both and upgrade?
Keep both?
Get a leather band put on the tag and use it as a dress watch?
Here are pics of the watches.

As per this thread, a very dangerous Gmail hacking tool is about to be released to the public. If you have not changed your settings in Gmail to always use https, this thing will allow any webpage that feels like it to automatically steal your Gmail account. This is a bad thing, ducy?

To secure your account, log in, click "Settings" on the far right corner of your screen, then scroll to the bottom and select the "Always use https" option. This should take you 15 seconds to do, so either do it or at least make sure to post a trip report about your lost monies in BBV.

I've never smoked, even though for the last 10 years I have been a avid disc(Frisbee) golf player.

speaking of girlfriends, I have a question for MSNL.

are any of you engaged/married? if so, how much did you spend on an egagement ring?

is that whole 2 months salary rule standard? I will probably make like $200k+ and really dont think spending more than $30k on a ring would be smart.

for the guys who arn't married, what do you think would be a good amount to spend?

Normally I think your posts are pretty spot on, but this is the worst advice ever. Pokerchap, no reason not to blaze sometime and at least see how it goes (I'd recommend trying it at least like 3 times before you give up on it. I didn't get high at all the first time I smoked, but the second time was awesome).

Nielso, shrooms are so much of a more intense experience than weed, and for someone who hadn't ever experienced anything like that I think it might be a bit much. Why do you think this would be better??

Pudge, weed isn't bad for you at all
