08-31-2007 , 12:39 AM
sigh out of the 55k guaranteed a/ks vs 7/7, guy made such a bad call preflop and bust me on the flop of j/10/7 with 2 of me suits. I did cash though but still.

Yeah, that's probably best. It's just that it's a tough game and some social aspect is needed. I'd never discuss hands or hand advice or poker theory, but to discuss with somebody how many hands a month we each play and if we plan to move up/down is something I do sometimes.
Is your name insaneaces? Some guy by that screen name was berating a fish at 25NL last night for playing with $75 in his bankroll.
I never berate fish. And I haven't played NL25 since I moved up from there this... hmm... February? I also haven't played FR cash in ages.

So I kinda doubt it's me. Nice try at guessing though.

I finally battled out of my downer and am back to the peak of my lifetime graph. Feels good.

so i have a 34 BI roll for 50nl and I'm getting ready to move up to 100nl. Yesterday I had a [censored] day, over 5 BI downswing, so I decide to move up to make it back. and lose 3 BI, losing all told almost $600, or 1/3 of my roll. I feel like a huge dumbass because this is the third time i have done this. It's getting so frustrating that I'm always about to move up and then tilt away a significant part of my BR.

Just needed to vent, if anyone has words of wisdom then thanks, but I realize i just need to stop [censored] tilting.

anyway, im grinding my losses back at 50nl, +4 BI today

You are supreme???? I had no idea. Actually I only tilted one buy in after to you..ak vs your 66 basically a race.

I actually would not of been as pissed if I knew that was you. I just thought it was some random punk. Anyways, you caught me at a really bad time with that hand which triggered my anger switch. So I apologize for my comments to you.

O, for the PokerAce HUD people - do they accept Stars transfer as a form of payment? I don't have a credit/debit card (I'm old school - checkbook) and don't have PayPal, etc.

God I hate playing hands this bad. Sure if I would've got stacks I would've felt great and the LP raiser was very aggro and guys in EP were v bad so I thought on flop if he doesn't push all-in then I can C-R and they would prob still call with draws so iunno how bad that part was but christ I mean preflop all that dead money and I'm too stupid to re-raise...

The only happiness I get is knowing I could've played it right, got all-in with the LP guy preflop, and I still would've lost. Doesn't make me happy still but I guess it's better than playing it bad and knowing I would've won a huge pot if I played it right lol

I KNOW THIS THAT IS WHY I POSTED IT !!!!

I think my talk about how bad I played it is pretty obvious I know how bad it was played I don't know why people only post hands they play great when the criticism you can get(like I got from you) is a lot better than "hahhaha good hand u got ur stack in with quads wooohooo you play awesome"

I would much rather post hands I played bad or bad beats than hands I play well, so there ya go. I still suck and still make bad plays..oh well, I'm learning. I also played another hand very badly earlier, but not nearly this bad
08-31-2007 , 01:51 AM
DLM,

if that was you then you made a huge mistake not taking me up on my HU offer. Chances are you would have made a ton off me from my tilt.
08-31-2007 , 01:53 AM
Good point prodigy, I hate when people post hands then after they get feedback they show results that they won and like to gloat about how they played the hand perfectly. If you think you played so well why are you posting it.
08-31-2007 , 02:05 AM
