Two years from now people will regard Aziz Ansari in the same regard as Dane Cook. Even if he makes fun of Dane Cook's energetic approach to comedy because in the end, Aziz is not funny.

If I had to pick a sitcom that is nothing like parks and rec, 30 rock would be towards the top of my list. Outside of both both being NBC Thursday night comedies they are completely dissimilar.

you seem to not understand how sitcoms work then. perhaps they have different humor but the way the shows are run is exactly the same.

I dunno what you mean by by how the show is run but I assume if you are simply describing the show to a potential viewer they would assume you are describing the style of humor. In that case I wouldn't compare it to 30 rock.

i'll stop dogging on it after this post as I watched six episodes of it but I thought the humor was obvious. It is a poor remake of some NBC comedy, probably the office now that I think about it drunkenly. Since my avatar is of Doug Stanhope, of course I am going to hate on some comedy outlet that has zero social relevance other than ZOMG dumb people do dumb things humorously.
