I think my wife summed it up best when I got home from the Casino on Saturday morning.

"How did you do?"
"I played well, but lost 2 BI"

"You played well, but lost money??"

"Yeah, I lost over $300 on one hand with top set to a guy with J9s chaising a Flush Draw, and then I lost $200 on top set to a gut shot straight draw, then I lost $350 to a guy chasing a one card flush."

Wife-looking at me, frowning. "Why don't you just get a full house next time?"

I was floored, didn't even know she knew what a full house was.

"Your right, I should of just gotten a full house.........easy game".

Sadly, this is probably closer to the truth than they intended.

Strangest play by a 17/5/2.5 villian ever? How many people shove TT in that spot, even with the flush draw? I figured he had to have 77 and I said a quick prayer for a turn Tc because it would have been my first Royal.

This guy is the table ATM. Running 77/1/1 over 85 hands. I raise bigger preflop to get the money in because I know he's calling. He NEVER folds the flop, he raises draws, and raises with top pair. This hand was my first misstep against him. It sucks because I thought I was value betting against a T, and I'm way ahead of his range.

Congrads. I also took that tourney down last summer but only because I had pocket aces and kings like once every 3 hands.
