Well I'm studying maths as part of my degree, so here's a statistical analysis:
Last year
[] I was a regular poster in the 2p2 ufr thread
[] My first account "mottotom27" was active for well over half the year
[] Total post count of
around 250
This year
[] I am no longer a regular poster in the 2p2 ufr thread
[] "mottotom27" has been inactive thus far
[] Total post count
less than 10
So now let's come to your point Ron:
Quote:
26 days into the year and 81 posts. This forum has actually died. There were 300 posts by this point last year
^Now as a calculated statistician and logician, I can inform that when something becomes worse one year to what it was like the previous year, the first thing you have to ask yourself is...have their been any major changes?
Looking at the evidence, you will notice a significant change has taken place regarding my posting habits. Last year I was posting regularly in the ufr thread, and a large proportion of my posts were under my other username "mottotom27". This year, not only am I no longer active under "mottotom27" but I've also only managed a single digit number of posts, so my frequency of contribution to the community has significantly dropped.
So there, we've identified what is likely to be a major reason behind the significant drop in activity between the ufr thread last year and this year's one. From a business perspective I know that in situations like this it's important to first identify the problem and then look for a way to solve it. So now we've come to the part that's important, and it will require your input as well as my own:
Solution
[] Encourage me to post more often in this thread
[] Fuel the decision to welcome back "mottotom27" to the 2p2 community
So there you have it, I've laid out everything you need to know about how we can get this thread back on the right track. As I said, I cannot do this on my own. In order for me to feel the desire to reactivate
mottotom27, I will need motivation. If mottotom27 is a car, then you as a sub-community can act as the engine to drive that car forward and rev up the ignition needed to get mottotom27 back into life. I stand on firm moral ground to tell you with confidence that you as a community and I as an individual can unite together as a cohesive bond to reinject some life back into the microstakes forums of 2p2 and go back to the beloved days of the past where everyone was getting along and bonding as individuals whilst also generating high quality and entertaining discussions within the community. These days may be gone, but we can bring them back! Let's do it together!
