Did you guys suspect them? I mean if someone reported them or how were they busted?
Even though Im happy Party will ban HUDs soon it might become difficult to bust bots in the future.

Any news on the NZ guys? Came out of nowhere, playing different stacksizes, changed gameplan a lot in the beginning and learned super fast.

They were busted by players. The NZ guys I know nothing about and I dont really think any of them are bots but I have no clue really.

Do we have a thread for the recently banned players?

Im not here to point fingers at anyone, but in these days I think it's fair to be suspecious.
If they are bots they would have to be some sort of AI who is learning from the pool. Uppies didn't reload at a 6 max table once but kept playing at other tables and if I was handling bots I would keep their balances to a minimum. However, I'm not accusing anyone, just trying to figure what is going on. Did anyone ever see them respond to a message in the chat?

Party is not banning HUDs.

If you join a table just a moment before a new hand is dealt, the auto-reload to max, much cards etc settings might be unchecked for that table.

This doesn't matter, either. The bots wouldn't be playing without a monitor. Some of the banned bots were chatting.

This is true, but uppies in particular just leaves it unchecked almost always. I never see him reload except for random times. I've seen him play for awhile with 5bb before after he got stacked. A lot of the NZ guys do that but I don't think its any viable bot signal.

There are no bots at Party, it just so happens to be that they all went to the same school. Uppies is a confirmed real person playing HUD-less, it's very standard to 4bet to 20bb and randomtank before calling AI for another 18.5bb!

I've read party will stop creating hans histories. Is this not true?
I'm not talking about sitting at a table, but not reloading while playing. It's difficult to calculate ranges for this many different stacksizes unless you have AI. Also why wouldn't he wanna cover the recs stacksizes?
I don't know if it's still the case but he used to play several good regs HU at the same time. He has to be super smart to be human. I've notived the same weird timing too and also with Suarez in no-brain all-ins.
No one seems to know these guys showing up out of nowhere. I don't care about outing nicks because as mentioned above I believe they withdraw as much as possible and the refunds we have seen this far is peanuts.
The rake we pay to party vs them is ridiculous.

Finally let me just make clear I'm sorry if they truly are human, but in 2015 I would rather accuse someone for being bots than let them keep draining the poker econony.

Party will stop creating HH's to the harddrive. You will only be able to view them online or in the client. Speculations run, that HEM or a third party will just use image processing to make HUDs work.

As far as uppies and suarez, I think they play very different but yes, the tanking for no brainers is very strange. I've seen uppies squeeze a few times with a short stacked fish in the pot and tank fold to his shove. And we are talking about a 15bb squeeze and the shortie shoving 20bb and he tank folds for the remaining 5. I've seen it several times. As far as anything else go I'll let Lessu chime in. He is the bot expert.

in case this helps anyone, i logged into my wpt account and found the $178 from the refunds and, unsurprisingly, was unable to withdraw it having been inactive for months. however, i spoke to support and they've arranged to manually transfer it to my bank account, so you should hopefully be able to do the same.

I don't play 400+ so I haven't had the pleasure of playing with him but some of you would get me the hand history # for these examples you've brought up and all other proof you have vs him, I'll make sure the right people will take a look

nothing to do with anyone busting. it's just when the other person's shift starts - given we don't play the same tables anymore, we take it in turns by week to take peak hours. we've been doing this for ages (someone even commented on it itt iirc), it's probably just more obvious without waitlists now.

I don't get why everyones complaining about it. I don't think you're actually complaining but lots ok the other thread. If they gave out 500 bonus for 2k points people would be happy. It clears in 250 chunks, I think it is great they are doing stuff like this.

Haven't played much against him yet, but is danish player Noegen_Person not the same player as Husk_Tandtraad (can't remember any recent sn's of his)? If so, how can he have a new sn, can danes somehow still change sn's?

Its possible he has 2 accounts. One for partypoker, one for bwin.

I wrote a quick program to fix all the bad hand histories in my database. I will post it here incase anyone finds it usefull. I would not download an .exe from someone I didn't know so if you want to try it then go for it. It can be run on any computer so you can do it on a computer without poker stuff if you are nervous.

How to use:
1) Extract all your hand histories you want to fix from HEM in order from oldest to newest. It must be in order.
2) place this .exe file in same folder as that extracted hand history file (you can have as many hand history files you want in that folder)
3) double click on the exe file and it will find and fix all the hand histories that it can and save it back in the same file.

Then I just purge the old hand histories from HEM and re-import the new files.
