You don't really need to learn how to transition, just play tight from EP, loose in LP, just like in FR.

Blind play is similar but you're in the blinds so much more often that its important you have a good strategy in that area.

^^^ this, its the same game, the big difference is because the 6max guys have more experience playing in late position they will prob be doing things your not use to seeing regs do in full ring, although not sure this happens much in the micros.

yeah, in theory it should be like playing FR when the first 3 positions folded, but just like EXO said, I do see regs take lines that I dont see in FR.
Seems like Btn 3bet vs CO is way higher in 6max. also seems like ppl are floating a lot more to cbets and fish are a lot more aggressive and 3bet happy preflop. they still suck post flop tho

The aggression difference between FR and 6max is the hardest thing to deal with imo.

GTO seems to be the new buzzword in strat threads atm. Mostly used by people who a) don't actually know what it means, b) wouldn't know how to correctly apply it to a situation anyway and c) would probably be better off not playing non-GTO anyway even if a & b didn't apply.

Basically this. There's far more to EPs post than just throwing out terms that are used in GTO or whatnot, he's one of the few who always has me thinking about the hand every time he posts. I think that's worth a ton.

these guys running 200-300 buy ins below ev over pretty big samples & breaking even or losing a tonne hahahahah, holy shattttt. The variance in this game is really mind blowing.
