Just looking for some help off anyone who may have any legal knowledge that may help me over the Full Tilt Poker points issue.

Im offering $100 to any one person who helps me get my FTP`converted in to cash.

Heres the collection of emails I set and was sent in regards to the not converting points thing:-










What is the next step? I will offer $100 to 1 person who helps me get FT to transfer my old points to cash.

This is the way I see it:-

1. Its blatent false advertising and nowhere on the emails can I see anything about it being old points that can be transfered.

2. When pushed I got the response that only points accumulated while a Black Card member are eligable. Most of my points were earned while I were a Black Card member.

3. They have rolled this out as Black Card and not an new promotion under a different name.

4. They assure me that points earned after genuinley earning Black Card for a rolling average of 500FTP`s over a 100 day period will be instantly available to convert but again see point 2.


Im guessing the response took so long because they had to try and find a way out of it because they have tripped themselves up and are hoping that I just forget about it. There are clear contradictions in their emails and in the advertisements and I think they should hold their hand up and admit their mistake. What they are trying to do is no way to run a business and rather than making people think about coming back to their site it is probably actively turning people off it.

I also wonder if complaining to the regulatory body will have any affect because they seem very reluctant to rectify their mistake.

Players who do not earn Black Card status by virtue of their 100-day rolling points average and are awarded Black Card status are not eligible to manually convert their Full Tilt Points.

Thats the thing I dont get, my points were earned while I were a Black Card member pre BF. Obviously after that FT didnt offer BC when they came back online so after moving to Stars there didnt seem much incentive to put much volume in on FT.

If you had blackcard at the moment FT went down, then I can see your problem. If you didn't, then really I don't see the issue especially if that stipulation was there before you complained.

Just earn it via 100day average.

I no longer play anywhere near enough to get anywhere nea the 500 point average.

This is part of the email that they sent out:-

As a Black Card player, you will earn weekly Edge Rewards at a rate of $2.50 for every 100 Full Tilt Points accumulated. You can also convert the Full Tilt Points you accumulate as a Black Card player directly to cash at a rate of $1 for every 200 Full Tilt Points.


Nowhere on that email does it state that old points cant be converted or that if you are gifted the status you cant manually convert points. They have however worded a work around in that they say you can convert points you accumulate as a Black Card player and thats where my issue lies in that my points were accumulated while I were a Black Card player and should be eligable for conversion.

FT have played a very sneaky trick on people with this and its very thin if not false advertising by them. I should imagine everyone who has millions of points tied up there saw and read the email and thought the same thing.

I'm not sure all the T&C need to be in the email as long as there is a link to the page containing all the T&C.

If you had a million points you'd just grind the 100days then convert all the points you had.

I got a black card email, but it says I have to earn it. Where u gifted blackcard status?

Like I say I simply don't have time to do it. If I did I obviously would but with the time available I would struggle to even get half way.

Yes I was gifted it, I guess because of the volume I were putting in pre BF, but it was earned before then.

Most hated, I play **** music and tell everyone how bad they are at poker, when I show them my WR they don't care.

I just bought and watched Bet Raise Fold. If you haven't seen it you might want to check it out. Somewhere out there is also a documentary on Captain Zeebo (free on the interwebz) by the same crew. Good stuff.

Confirmed. Still some decent folks on there but there are a few who just don't seem to get/care what the forums are actually for and consider it their own private club.
