sounds about right boyz! I like it when the jackpot is this big. But normaly meh. Would prob get the bad rig if i hunt bbj, but not bad enough to win the jackpot.

thats fkn sick, i thought it was way way lower for to be +ev, you havent included the fact that maybe fish like playing bbj tables more over normal tables but i think this is a small difference when most regs are pussys and only 1 open table in the lobby (or 6 with the same bumhunter on each (mr jimmy) and fish will join whatever tables are running which are usually annon or normal

Yeah that doesn't seem very likely. Surely it has to be +EV once the average longterm potsize of the bad beat jackpot has been crossed? Like, the bad beat jackpot has never ever crossed the 1$ million mark, somebody has always won it before that point. That in itself surely has to mean that it is likely enough to win it that the 40$ million mark has to be incorrect? This is excluding fees though.

Or am I thinking about this in the wrong way?

I cannot vouch for the formulas, just used them to calculate the odds.

@IFS, you logic is flawed. Just because it never went beyond a million it does not mean it is +EV. It just means that for the time the BBJ is accumulated (few to several months) enough hands were played for someone to be dealt the qualifying hand.

i think you are completely wrong, because beating the rake only means, that you are not losing while chasing the bbj, but ev wise it doesn't matter, because without the extra rake it would be even more + ev if you played on normal tables

hahahahaa........ look CrazyE worked out one of my SNs about 2 yrs ago.
True to his word he has never outted it, not that I play on that account anymore.Or venture often above 5/10 on MG these days.
