They may be safe, but not as safe as Ladbrokes. Unibet and Nordicbet have the same regulator Purple Lounge had (LGA), and it seems player funds do not need to be segregated.

Been playing on Ladbrokes since I moved from PL, 5 fig cashouts were all recieved next day (under 12 hours) and got a good affiliate deal their

I totally agree with you.

Just realised that my rakeback/affiliate comment needed some context - it's not that you can get a good deal at xyz, it's that if one of them is doing under the table deals, they might not be on good terms with MGS anymore.

You can do this also with a Reward card over the counter(At betting shop) if the said premises hold enough cash and you have conversed with poker manager to upgrade account wallet transfers.

"They may be safe, but not as safe as Ladbrokes."..?

We have replied to these types of posts in the past which seem to be founded on conjecture.

Unibet, 100% guaranteed, has a segregated account for all player funds. Always have had, always will do. It is a regulatory requirement from the LGA. Why PL chose to disregard that is another story.

See our yearly reports (Public company: They are available to all who want to check) for confirmation.

Thanks

Not that I don't believe that Ladbrokes is 100 % safe, but how it is possible to disregard having segregated accounts...

-Ok PL guys this is MG HQ/LGA....just to make sure...do u have have player funds segregated from the companys?

-YES!!!! As stated in the regulations we signed, we follow this rule...

-Ok guys...have a nice day, bye!

No skin is 100% safe! Play on big skins and hope you don't get fked but history shows it can happen so don't be shocked when it does.

Sorry to be so adamant about this but the debate about the relative "safeness" of skins is always very uninformed because the information available is limited so it devolves into conjecture and overly-confident statements that are opinion at best

Sadly I must agree with this no skin can be 100% safe; however you can absolutely limit your risk by playing with either Unibet or Ladbrokes when using the Microgaming network and those playing with dubious skins to avail of the more lucrative rb deals knew the risk involved. I still hope you all get your funds back though

How about Stan James? This talk is getting me worried as I got
stung pretty bad with Full Tilt fiasco

stan james has shops in the UK and makes its money from sports betting, im on unibet but I would regard stan james as being just as safe as unibet, ladbrokes

Myself, as well as many of my friends, lost substantial amounts under Purple Lounge and if it is indeed a regulatory requirement from the LGA, it obviously isn't enforced properly, if at all. You can't just disregard a requirement and still maintain a license for years.

They have a second poker room on Microgaming for players from countries that are banned from Entraction. You can play on it even if you are not from one of the Entraction banned countries (Israel, Canada, Norway and Russia) but you need to contact their support for help if you are not from one of these countries as they have to do a bit of jiggery pokery with your account in order to make their Microgaming poker room available to you.

Was there a separate Purple Lounge thread about people losing funds there? I actually didn't know that anybody lost funds.

Crazy. I guess it wasn't talked about much on this thread as it became part of Entraction (the casino side being MG still). Sorry for the players that are being robbed.

Due to network Microgaming unethical conduct, the players' confidence in 5050Poker damaged with major negative economic consequences.

The ability to operate in a businesslike way, in the short term are severely restricted.

Above put together mean that the company's assets and liabilities are likely to be in such an imbalance that the Board has decided to delay further payments and to establish a balance sheet for liquidation purposes.

The Board further decided to investigate the possibility of making financial demands on Microgaming corresponding to the damage caused to the 5050 Poker.

So what does this exactly mean ? Never see our money again ?

That's how i interpret it. Don't pay the players, blame Microgaming.
