I always try and respond to hh threads, but I agree 'read the stickies' 'don't bluff fish' 'buy in full' etc. can get repetitive, but someone has to do it as someone did it when you were making those mistakes!

That's all true. However, it doesn't excuse trashing regulars (or anyone) on this forum. By definition, any winning regular in the micros isn't as good as winning regulars in SSNL. So someone coming down from SSNL to tell a micro player they suck demonstrates what type of person they are. I've gotten warnings for things far, far less severe than what Greg did.

FWIW, an act under compunction is not praiseworthy IMO.

I think memory 2g --> 6g makes a bigger difference than CPU.

Any speedup will be small. You should be glad that with old hardware a new OS is not much much slower!

A high end SSD (e.g. OCZ Vertex or the Intel X-25) is also a big win IMO.
